"Smart Tile was quick to respond to my request to have my granite counter tops cleaned & sealed. We setup a date and time to have the work done. I was called earlier in the day to confirm our appointment. Lorenzo was on time and started working immediately after he took a look at what was needed to be done. He was very courteous, friendly and paid close attention to detail. Lorenzo protected the floors with mats to ensure that the cleaner and sealer would not drip onto the kitchen floor. After he was done, my counter tops looked the same as the day they were installed. He also answered any questions that I had regarding the continued maintenance for my granite counter tops. Lorenzo was professional at all times and I could tell by the way that he worked he is an experienced craftsman. "Anthony Gandolfo gave a very reasonable quote for our bathroom remodel.  He laid out plans clearly and gave us day-to-day updates throughout the process.  The job took a little longer than expected--3.5 weeks as opposed to 2.5 weeks, however there were unexpected delays.  
Anthony does beautiful tile work!!  Please be sure that he is the one on the team that does this part of the job, as he is meticulous. He doesn't mind you pointing out any little detail that might need more attention.  The only major problem during the job was a leak that was discovered in a heating line after the ceiling had already been sheet rocked.  Anthony addressed the issue quickly and his plumber was came to the house later that day to eventually fix the issue.
Both bathrooms turned out great!  There was an unresolved plumbing issue in the main bathroom (the shower runs ever so slightly while running a bath), however overall we are very satisfied with how it turned out.  My family would definitely consider hiring Gandolfo Contracting again in the future.

"The contractor, I believe his name was Andrew, gave me an estimate and after receiving other estimates, even though I had a lower one, I went with him. I liked his description of the problem (cracked grout on shower tile floor)...suggested total replacement and also the fact that he was European trained. He took out the old tiles, and the cement sub-floor down to the rubber base, and in 3 separate consecutive mornings did the project..the last day putting a grout sealer. He was very neat, clean and punctual. I would recommend and hire him again. AND also he accepted credit cards! Anthony - Plainview, NY."
