"Woke to cold house, called another contractor from Angie's list, even before trying repair the furnance said I needed a new furnance which was odd & looked at other reviews of that company and it seemed to their m.o. (had reviews describing a word for word sales lines). So called United Home comfort, they fit me in, technician came and got our furnance working and offered a new furnance package I couldn't refuse. They came early and installed a new furnance in 5-6 hrs, no major issues. Technicians were knowledgeable and answered all my questions about future upgrades. Very happy"

"when tech showed up the dryer seemed to be working and heating however it did not when I called, seemed the heating element was cracked creating and off and on working condition. I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. I was surprised however that the tech expected me to pay in full before he ordered the part and repaired the problem, but I did using my credit card knowing if there was a issue the credit card co. would have my back, The part was order and Alex fixed it as soon as it came in and was great"

"We had three valves replaced and three faucets and drains installed. When making the appointment the owner was very informative and some work was done that day with the rest needing to wait based on sink installation. The plumber was very efficient and there have been no problems since the work was done. I rated the price lower because it seemed very high for the amount of time spent. The price was actually on the low end of the estimate so I appreciate that, but $1,000 for less than four hours of work seems like a lot. It may be very reasonable compared to other plumbers, but I do not know."

"The servicemen did a great job with replacing the necessary faucets and providing recommendations. My only complaint would be that a hole was cut into the ceiling that was too large for the cover they placed over it. They did however offer a discount on the price as a result of this, which was appreciated. Overall, they spent about 6 hours in our home and did several jobs. The men were very professional and provided descriptions of possible solutions."

"This company is absolutely wonderful beginning with the courtesy when I called to schedule an appointment the first time. Next Jack N who arrived at my home on time and as promised. He provided me estimate for the repair and went over every detail of it with me. When the crew arrived to do the job they were very professional and performed the job as promised. I have a large house that was built in 1902 and was NOT able to find anyone willing to tackle my problem. Acculevel came in and fixed every issue. My house has a tight crawl space but Acculevel was able to replace a beam and the sister joist. In addition provided support and leveled out my floor. This was done without needing to cut a hole in my floor. The results were immediate and my floor looks and feels wonderful. I immediately noticed the stability. "Inspection was very thorough and the detailed printed report was great to have immediately after the inspection. It was nice taking the detailed report to the sellers during negotiations. Their recommendations to replace the water heater is what finally made the sellers budge on that issue. He even emailed me a letter to show to the sellers that the water heater was bad and needed replaced after they were being a little stubborn with the issue. <br />"

"In my recently purchased home I needed to wanted to have the very old hot water tank replaced before it completely stopped working. Gearhart came and looked things over and agreed that the tank was very old and not very efficient and should probably be replaced. I wanted an 'on demand' tank and was told that although they could install one, because the ventilation was virtually nonexistent, they would have to install ventilation as well which would add to the cost. Because I was on a budget, I elected to not go that route. So Gearhart gave me an estimate for just replacing the current tank with a new/efficient tank. They arrived on time. While they were removing the old tank they found that the bottom had completely corroded when it separated from the tank. They had to basically scrap the tank bottom off the floor before they could begin installing the new tank. That added to the cost a little, but not much. A couple of minor problems they found with the piping was fixed at no additional cost. All in all, I was very happy with the service they provided. Although they were a tad bit more expensive (but not by that much), they were extremely knowledgeable and professional. They completely cleaned any mess made before they left. If I have any future plumbing problems, I would definitely call Gearhart Plumbing before I called anyone else <br />"
