He was patient and answered multiple rounds of questions to make us feel as comfortable and secure as possible. When we decided to give the siding project to them, they worked with us step by step. We received line item details, mock ups, and were even able to get their own personal/professional input on decisions. "They entered the home with drop cloths to capture any debris. Used vac to contain the soot. The fireplace had not been tended to since 2004 when we purchased the home. The home has been under major renovations and just recently became livable. We were surprised by the condition of the fireplace due to age and neglect. Greg provided a quote to repair and gave alternatives if we chose to not use the fireplace as a wood burning fireplace. "<p>     This was an easier job for a contractor and Brent showed how easy it was.  Out goal was to replace the ORIGINAL cellar stairs with new stair to support 300lbs of weight.  It was pretty simple and Brent finished the job in 1/2 day.  We use the cellar to store canned goods and supplies.  I'm about 250 lbs and carrying heavy items was a concern.  The new stairs can easily support my weight and additional pounds easily.</p> <p>     the outside of the house was in need since the last home owners neglected the home.  Brent replace the damaged wood and covered the wood with a metal paneling to protect the interior.  Looks great.</p>"

"The main structure of my house is 175+ years old and has additions with flat rooves-attached prior to my ownership (in the 40s? 50s?60s?) I've had water damage at these junctures before but never in the middle of a room. When that happened, I knew it was time to have the main slate roof looked at. From  start to finish, the two gentlemen from PPM were prompt, thorough and knowledgable. They called the morning after I inquired on line.  They scheduled a time to inspect & quote on the job that was convenient for me in a matter of days. <br /> (I believe it was actually the very next day, too.)  My biggest fear was that I would have to tear off the entire roof and replace it with asphalt shingles. PPM took the time to give me a crash course on slate, explaining how repairs would be done and assuring me that slate is still superior to asphalt. <br /> The repair day was further scheduled promptly, with much respect given to me and my schedule. They arrived early and worked a long, dilligent 12-hour day.  As they communicated with each other on the job, I didn't feel like I was overhearing barroom banter (as has happened with other crews). Over and above their professionalism, both gentlemen were kind.  PPM was very respectful of the yard. As a team of two, they worked efficiently, thoughtfully and carefully. Their time on the roof was quality time, not rushed or hurried, not sloppy. And all the plants around the house were left intact!  They were amazing in every aspect,even removing an old leaf guard that had wedged itself into and clogged a gutter; plus they blocked a gaping hole where critters can get in, at a joint where the flat roof meets the slates (neither of these "while your up there" were included in the quote). Their clean-up was a dream come true, a fact not to be taken for granted. <br /> In short, there are businesses I like to give my money to because of their combined attributes: kind & respectful, knowledgeable & professional, thorough & hard-working.  I have complete confidence in the quality of their work and would use them again in a heartbeat. <br />"

"<p>We had a very bad communication problem.   I gave him a $600.00 deposit and he never got back to me except to tell me he would be there on Saturday(three Saturdays in a row) which he never showed.  He said he was having phone problems.  When he finally came his work was great.  He did everything I needed done and a little more. He dose very good work and I was very  happy with the results.  I think after this he will be better with his customer communication skills</p> <br />"

"I have used Stoves and Such for many years now and have found the Service Repair Technician (Mark) to simply be Outstanding.  He knows his job and Units he works on completely.  He came out and checked my Profile 30's Control Board and knew from testing that it was the problem.  He indicated to me that he saw I chose not to have the cleaning completed; after thinking about this for a short time and under no pressure from Mark I changed my mind.  I know how thorough he can be and although I keep my unit really clean there are simple parts of the fans (inside) that I do not get to.  He checks and cleans as he goes... removes the fans and changes gaskets, checks wires and connections, auger, pan etc.  I have had my Unit since late 00' or early 01' and he has been the only Repair Tech to touch it.  I have replaced two fans, had the Cleaning Bar repaired and now the Control Board at a cost of just over $1,000.  Not bad for 13 years of service. <br /> <br /> <br />"
