"This project started in July 2015 and it's still not completed.  My "new" roof leaks more than the old.  In December 2015, I noticed my first leak with the new roof.  They blamed it on tuck pointing. The second leak was noticed in May 2016.  The latest leak was noticed on 7/23/2016. <br />  So, on August 2 I hired and independent roofing inspector. He found that the chimney wasn't properly sealed , hence the leak in December. The June leak was because they  "forgot" to replace flashing and install parts of the guttering.  They did come out and install new flashing but only on the leaking window. Keep in mind that the other windows still don't have flashing.  I guess they are waiting for those to leak before they install the flashing. The needed guttering was also not installed.  The most recent leak has not been addressed. The owner is aware of this problem.  I have sent pictures, texts and emails along with the inspectors report but with NO response.  <br />  The siding was installed with mismatched colors.  I called and let them know that the siding didn't match. I was told it would be fixed asap.  The siding was finally replaced 2 +months later  but with more mismatched colors.  They finally got the siding to match a few weeks later.   <br /> I also had to clean up after the workers.  I have a covered porch which was sided with brick like shingle material.  When they installed the new siding over the old , all the small granules were left on my porch . The porch is carpeted so I was unable to just sweep it up.  It needed to be vacuumed up with a shop vac. Because the large granules, it broke my Dyson vacuum immediately.   I also had to rent a steam cleaner because one of the workers dropped his big gulp of soda on the carpet and left it there, cup and all. I came home from work to find a floor covered in ants.  <br /> I also don't believe that they went over the yard with a metal roller.  I have found at least 100 nails in my yard. I am surprised that one of my dogs hasn't stepped on one.  <br /> During the entire project, I was NEVER notified of when the workers were showing up.  Typically, this may not have been a big deal but it's rather alarming to find 3 workers looking in your window when you're walking around in a towel because you just got out of the shower.   <br /> They also left my back gate open not once but TWICE. Each time I would come home and my dogs would be gone.  The last time happened on the hottest day of the year.  I was LIVID!!!  One of my dogs had been missing for  24 hours.  I was afraid that he might have died of dehydration or heat exhaustion.   Luckily, a neighbor found him under a bush.   <br />  I had so many problem that I was told that we would have a meeting between myself, the sales person, the project manager, PEI owner and the roofing foremen to discuss all the problems and get them taken care of.    This never happened !!!    <br /> <br /> <br /> Do not use this company"

"Our house (built 1900) has a front porch, 2/3 of which was long ago converted into a 4-season extension of the living room, and the other 1/3 left as an unheated mud room.  The living side had old decaying windows, rotting exterior trim, and rot in the wall underneath the windows. The mud room side had single-pane aluminum windows and a glass storm door.  The porch has a cinder-block foundation but the crawlspace is separate from the basement and unheated.  Our goal was to better weatherize both sides and mitigate the rot. <br /> We had Lonnie replace all 10 windows on both sides, repair the wall rot, and install a new exterior front entry door in place of the existing storm door.  He also removed the interior stucco and clapboard and sprayfoamed the walls, sprayfoamed underneath the entire floor, and sealed up other uninsulated areas of the interior.  We also had him replace a single baseboard heater with two separate units and rewire the ceiling lights.  Everything was then re-trimmed inside and out and new carpet installed.  He did this all without touching the exterior stucco, which would have been very expensive to repair.  Next he cut two windows into our livingroom wall on each side of our fireplace and created custom interior trim to match the existing windows in the house.  All the trim work, both interior and exterior, looks excellent and well-crafted. <br /> Lonnie was a pleasure to work with, very professional and capable, yet  not fast-talking or up-selling.  He communicates very promptly, either  in person, via email, text message, or phone call.  He always kept us  informed about his schedule, or the schedule of his contractors so we  would know what days certain work would be performed.  His work is high quality. <br /> <br /> <br />"

Called him 1/2 hour later-came right over to finalize. It was end of day, so they came back promptly the next morning. Had about a 4 man team, and worked from 9am-3pm. Very courteous,professional,hard working, pleasant. They even put up with a ground nest of bees --brought out a sheet of plywood over it do they wouldn't get stung.Jesse Vosen the manager checked back throughout the work period. Knows his stuff. They are based out of Eden Valley, MN and come through our town for short periods of time in the summer. Their work was excellent , the price was reasonable compared to other estimates and work we have hired before, and they raked up the area they worked in, and cleaned up the mess on the road-left it clean.. What I appreciated most is they didn't give an inflated high estimate as some trimmers have in the past, who play games and go back and forth before you get to an agreed upon price. I would hire them again without question."
