"We hired Zack to install crown molding in our cathedral, ceiling living room, and dining room. It was a difficult task with many unusual angles. It was a job that would normally demand two carpenters, working together to install, but amazingly, he was able to complete the entire job by himself. Multiple challenges faced him due to the construction of our home, but he was creative and resourceful in solving them. He was also an excellent communicator, and always showed up when he was scheduled. The finished product exceeded our already high expectations. We would definitely recommend this highly talented young man."

"Fast Result Solutions responded promptly to our request for stucco/cement repair. They arrived on time and carefully examined the problem we were having. They explained the problem and how to fix it, and kept us informed every step of the way as they completed the repair. After finishing, they were thorough in their cleanup. The work was completed in a very timely manner and the price was reasonable. The finished result looks great. We are grateful, very satisfied and would recommend to anyone."

"Excellent experience with Rusnak Services! Rusnak Services came highly recommended by my realtor (who has lived and worked in the area for over 20 years and uses Dave for her personal home renovations). I recently moved to Brevard and purchased a new home that needed many random small repairs. I worried about finding a handyman/contractor who would be willing and able to take on the diverse tasks in a timely and fair priced manner. Rusnak Services exceeded my expectations. In the past, I have found handymen/contractors to be very difficult to communicate with in a timely manner. Dave was the opposite. He responded to me by phone and text and email! He was very timely in his communication. He provided me with a fair estimate and a timeline for the work that was very transparent and reasonable. He came out to begin work on the date and time that we had set...so often this does not happen with handymen and contractors. Dave consistently shows up when he says he will and is great at keeping in touch about the progress of his work and any issues that he discovers. He always provides options for the repairs and does not push you to do things in the way that benefits him- instead he provides choices so that you can develop a solution that works for your budget and timeline. He has provided us with excellent quality work, on time, and for a fair price. Everything from minor electrical repairs to sealing cracks in the exterior of the house to plumbing issues to removing and installing ceiling fans...and more. He has touched on every category of home repair for us and each repair has been high quality. I was very surprised by the other review because he has never left a mess. In fact he is very organized and clean as he works. He let us know that he also does bigger remodeling jobs. At this time, that is not in our budget but I greatly appreciated that even though our work was more humble he treated us and our home with respect, kindness, and professionalism just as if we were a high-end client. I am truly thankful to have connected with Rusnak Services. Dave has given me peace of mind. As a first time homeowner, with the help of Rusnak Services I will be able to maintain my home in a cost effective and high quality manner."

"My experience with Manny and his assistant was fantastic. Manny was on time, when he came to give me an estimate and for the two days that he worked at my house. I truly appreciate this and unfortunately this is hard to come by these days. Manny laid porcelain tile in a small bedroom, I'm sure not the most attractive job for him but his estimate was fair, he showed up on time, cleaned everything up and was generally a kind & professional person. And the room looks beautiful! For this I will highly recommend Manny's Home Remodel & Repair for laying tile."

"Ron Brooks (One Man and a Hammer) did a terrific job on the tile back-splash in our kitchen. He arrived on time, quoted a very fair price and did a first rate job installing the tile. He also mounted two new ceiling light fixtures that I had purchased and never installed. Ron is a very meticulous worker and a good guy. We'll use his services again."

"We wanted to turn our old back patio into a sunroom. He helped by installing a set of French doors to access the patio and then closed in the patio, installed flooring, and completed all finish. The work was high quality and we now have a comfortable space to hang out and enjoy. Highest recommendation."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
