"The project went very well. Their service guy called in advance to confirm the appointment, called to confirm his arrival time and arrived on time. He took care with his equipment, acted professionally, asked questions and listened well, and took great care with his ladder to be gentle with our house. He also took pictures of the damaged and rusted chimney cap so I could see the extent of the damage (since we can't climb to the roof). "I called for an inspection and consult and the owner just happened to be working on a job in the area.  He came over within an hour or two after my call.  He went over the whole chimney system and advised me on a number of issues and options.  I had done a lot of research on the issues I thought I had, and he confirmed most of my fears, yet provided me with a great deal of information and options.  I feel like the quote was fair, although I cant afford the work YET... "My heat kept shutting off. Replace the safety value but it shut down again. Realized it must be a block in the Chimney. I called MANY chimney companies but most were to busy to come out for a month or two. I found one that would come on Friday but when I called Atlantic they said they would be out that night. They called back when they said they would, arrived on time, were very professional and explained what they were going to do. Even one of the owners stopped by. Turns out the chimney was blocked and they had it cleaned out in less than an hour. Even though it was dark out, Dan climbed on the roof to give me an estimate for a liner and cap. I will definately be hiring them to install the liner."
