"Mike is a very personable home improvement professional. He knows a lot about his profession and has lots of work pics and vids to back that up. He designed the remodel for our entire kitchen and first floor. He also remodeled both out bathrooms choosing much of the materials and cabinets himself and that proved to work out great. We love everything! His contractors are excellent workers - non-nonsense workers that do not waste time. Very good, efficient workers. From cabinets, to hardwood floors, to wall and ceiling repairs/painting including the family room paneling - it was all done very professionally. We will hire Mike for our next project- the bedrooms. "Changed our 1960 kitchen and made it look like a kitchen built in 2020. It really exceeded our expectations. We refaced our kitchen in order to sell our house next year. We will have no problem selling this house. We were home the entire time our installer worked on the kitchen. The guy worked hard and he did a great job. I consider myself handy, but I wouldn't taken this project on. Glad we didn't decide to paint. Everyone that sees our kitchen loves it, For reasons I can't explain, they think the kitchen is larger. That is okay with us. If you are okay with your kitchen's layout and the cabinet frames are okay, then this is the way to go."

"David called me several times to see what I needed before I was able to call him back. So glad he did. The day I called him he made arrangements to come out the next day to assess work I needed completed.We made arrangements for him to come the following week with my estimate in hand. He called the 1st of the week due to a cancellation & said he would pick up materials and be at my home by 9am the following morning. He arrived at 9am completed the work within 2 hours. "Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"They did a nice job but we have one little trouble some spots leaks on the roof but they've come back and have tried to fix it every time so they've been  very responsive.

They were very responsive and we have another discussion in process about this leak so I'm sure they'll come out and take, they were going to install some rubber corking around our door upstairs and then it snowed and they weren't able to do it but once the weather get's nice I'm sure they'll be out."

"I removed old carpet and padding from the living and dining rooms. The hardwood flooring had beautiful grain and character, but also a lot of damage. Some of the wood grain was raised and there were a lot of stains, some of which were black. I thought it might be a lost cause, but contacted Teppo Interiors through Angie's List for an opinion on refinishing and an estimate.
Kevin Teppo described the process and what results I could realistically expect. It wasn't a lost cause, but it would not be like new either. He was more optimistic about the results than I. He pointed out the crack in the ceiling and that there was no quarter-round on the woodwork, both of which his crew could take care of. There was no pressure to sign or up-selling. I appreciated that.
They were able to start on the job earlier than expected, which was perfect. I removed everything from both rooms.
Evening before sanding: They taped and plastered the ceiling crack. I applied two coats of paint. That was not expected of me but I had the time. It was one less thing for them to do the next morning.
Day 1: Three man crew arrived on time, sanded the floors and applied the walnut stain. I was warned about the fumes, so I boarded my dog for this time frame. The doorways were sealed with plastic to keep the fumes contained as well as possible.
Day 2-4: Sanding and a coat of polyurethane, 3 coats total. The crew arrived on time and were very efficient and polite.
Day 5: Quarter-round was installed. They moved the dining room table and TV stand back into the rooms. Job complete.

"Our shower was causing a slow drip leak to our kitchen below. We had several plumbers and contractors out to diagnose the problem, but none could really find or fix the root of the problem. Matt diagnosed it correctly and fixed the issue for us. I was so impressed with Matt that I hired him to do repair and replace our back porch/three-season room. Matt completely tore off and replaced the roof, tore off and replaced the railing (which was rotted through), replaced the storm door that was broken, replaced a post that was rotted, repaired the cement, and repaired the gutter. It was a lot of work, and Matt is one guy, so it took a bit longer than if he had a team of guys, but he did a great job. Very happy with his work."
