Since most movers are hourly if there are items you can move yourself do so. My daughter and I layed out two 10 × 20 tarps and loaded them with boxes,bags,and small furniture. By doing this beforehand it eliminated the need for the movers to go in and out of my 2nd fl apartment other than to retrieve the heavier items. They came back and resolved the problem but they also did additional work; they really are not the best painters. The price was very reasonable and they also did some exterior painting for me as well.
