"The work was done well overall, but I had to remove some large concrete pieces from the sloping areas around the edges. The original diggers had buried these close to the surface, which would have made landscaping impossible. This was not Jerry's fault, as they did not follow his instructions to break these up, and add them to the substrate rock under the patio base. There were delays due to the very bad weather, out of his control, but the re-scheduling needs could have been communicated better, in my opinion."

"Steve Norfolk and his crew dug down to the footing and applied the waterproof material a section at a time.  The original plan was to dig the entire area first and then apply the waterproof material all at the same time.  However daily torrential rains turned the area into a sea of mud, so he decided to do it a section at a time to minimize problems associated with the rain.  He had to break up a concrete slab (porch) for 1/2 the front, and approximately 25 feet of driveway next to the house.  Progress was slow due to the rain and mud, but Steve steadfastly pursued the completion of the job despite the setbacks.  Although justifiably discouraged by the rain and lack of progress, he exhibited a positive "can do" attitude and kept at it.  The finished product was professionally done.  Backfill and all concrete were properly completed, and grass seed applied.  Steve is a conscientious professional who knows his business and can be relied upon to do the work he says he will accomplish.  I would use him again in a heartbeat.

"We have been extremely happy with the MP Home Repair company and their work. We found them through Angie’s List and hired them early in May 2018 to do a complete bathroom renovation, ripping out and replacing tile walls, tile floors, the old tub, etc. in a 1950-60's era home. They had only about two weeks to complete the project because we were on a tight time schedule. They came through with flying colors. They showed up on time every morning, and the project came in right at the original estimated cost. During the course of the renovation, we asked them to do an additional job for an extra charge, which they happily agreed to do. A few weeks ago we hired them again for another job, this time for a partial renovation of a side porch. They replaced the porch posts, the roof, porch ceiling, and some of the flooring planks where needed. We've been very satisfied with their work for both projects.
