"I hired E.T. General Contractor, Inc. and worked closely with Julio on a fairly large backyard cleanup. My backyard is about 9,000 sq. ft., and I received seven estimates. Julio’s estimate was in the middle of the range, but the main reason we chose him was the impression he made during our first conversation. He came out, inspected the property, talked through the options, and provided thoughtful recommendations based on what he saw. I was initially interested in a larger project based on his recommendations, but ultimately decided to start with a general cleanup that included removing weeds, stumps, dead trees, and 1–2 truckloads of debris. From start to finish, Julio and his crew were communicative, honest, professional, and easy to work with. I’ll definitely keep Julio in mind as my first call when I’m ready for a larger backyard project. Highly recommend!"

"I received 3 quotes to repair my deck. It was tipping to one side. Deciding factors for choosing with King Construction were: lowest price; contractor came to my home to see the damage to the deck (…others gave quotes based on pictures alone); he showed me precisely where the damage was by removing one if the columns. The contractor’s quote was based on physical evaluation of the deck…not just on pictures. The whole process was detailed and professional. The final “icing on the cake” was the work performance. The deck was repaired using the required structural items that should have been used in the first place and in the proper manner to sustain the deck. All was done in a professional manner. I am happy with the work done."

"We hired Old Virginia Construction to fix a garage for a house that we were renting. They garage had been several damaged a car accident. Old Virginia Construction finished the job as quickly as possible given the supply chain issues. The company used high quality materials. Our GM was very detail-oriented and made sure he checked it with us on every step of the process to ensure we were satisfied with the work. It was not an easy process as we had to coordinate with an insurance company and our landlord to get the work done, by our GM was very good at staying on top of tracking and providing detailed change orders of what needed to be done. Would definitely recommend the for any home repair project."

"This repair involved parging a badly crumbling external concrete wall. D and A Concrete came out for an estimate, which I found very reasonable. They made two trips in order to do a primary and finishing coat of concrete. The results exceeded expectations. In fact, D and A's work looked better than the rest of the wall which was not damaged. They were very responsive and easy to deal with. I recommend them highly."

"We had some flooding in our basement this summer/fall due to problems with inadequate drainage in our backyard, including under our deck. Troy gave us an excellent analysis of how to address the problem in the most efficient way. They dug a French Drain system to capture the water from the hill in the backyard that slopes towards the house as well as tying in 2 house downspouts. All of the water is now channeled underground away from the house foundation, which exits from a pop-up drain into a swale. The excavated soil was installed and compacted under the deck and around the house foundation and sloped to prevent water from reaching the house. He also connected us with his deck sub-contractor to remove the deck boards (necessary for the work) and then replace them afterwards. All the work was scheduled and completed in timely and excellent fashion and Troy was great to work with. I would strongly recommend them for any type of landscaping work to address drainage issues."

"Excellent. There is an art to concrete and Langhorne is a true artist."

"I called Waterproofing Inc on a Wednesday and we scheduled an appointment for an estimate for Saturday. Steve promptly came at the scheduled time and we reviewed the situation in my basement.   I told him of my goal to have a finished DRY basement.  He looked at my existing pump and drain. He suggested that I could apply (or have applied) plastic sheeting to the walls to help with the seepage problem. However, he doesn't do that type of work. He also asked me what I thought the problem was with the moisture problem. He suggested that he could extend the current waterproofing system along the entire back wall and gave me a written estimate for that work. The reason that I rated him a B and said I would hire him was because I didn't feel confident in his diagnosis of the root cause of the water problem and his proposed solution to address the issue so that my basement could be dry. I am looking for a one stop shop with a solution driven individual who comes in as a problem solver. I just didn't get that from Steve. He didn't even look (or ask to look) outside the house to see how the water comes off the back of the house where the problem is.  I'm guess if I just wanted someone to drill up the concrete and put a drain in, he would be fine because his price was reasonable for that work. But I'm looking for a holistic solution provider who will address all issues with the most effective and efficient techniques to keep my basement dry.  I just wouldn't hire him for that role."

"Rui and his crew did a great job and communicated well. I'm very pleased with the result and highly recommend VRN Masonry. Thank you!"

"This is the second project we’ve done with Tillerman Gardens and again, they’ve exceeded my expectations. I had my flagstone patio extended and a walkway added to my back entryway. Jesse had some creative ideas to incorporate the walkway - he came up with a gorgeous design that I would never have envisioned or had the insight to drum up myself. The execution was seamless - his team was prompt and efficient everyday, and the end result is absolutely beautiful. Now I want more things done. This type of quality work completely transformed my space. Worth every penny."
