"I interviewed seven different roofing companies before I chose to sign a contract with Universal Roofing and Contracting. I was especially impressed with their representative, Jason Serrano. He answered all of my questions, but more importantly, he LISTENED to what I wanted. The contract I signed was specifically tailored to MY needs; it wasn't some standard job. It took a few weeks after I signed to get the right permits, but then the project moved quickly. Michael Ramos served as my project manager, and he kept me informed as the roof was put on. He showed me photos of the damaged spots, and of the completed work. I was pleasantly surprised that the actual work was completed in only one day (I have a very large roof on my 2,100 square foot one story house.) "Every interaction with Kennedy *after I paid my down payment* was marked by rudeness from start to finish. I just paid, was met w rudeness yet again, so said I would be reviewing them. Owner(?) said Go ahead, defamation is a real thing! That threat, while not surprising given all previous interactions, will not sway me from giving an honest review of the extreme rudeness and lack of professionalism of the entire company. First, salesman did the math wrong on the contract and then treated me like I just did not understand how roofing works, until he realized h would done the arithmetic wrong. After down payment, I did not hear anything, so I called. And called. And called. I just wanted a callback to have some sense for a timeline but weeks went by w no response. At all. When work started and I had questions (appropriate for consumer), was treated rudely for asking and for sharing concerns about rudeness. And now this. The most unprofessional company I?ve ever worked with, start to finish."

"From start to finish, Wiedmann Roofing did an amazing job of replacing a new roof on our home. If you're looking for the best engineered roof, most efficient service and fairest affordable price, this is the place to go. While replacing our soffits and fascia (different project), the contractors discovered that there was a significant amount of deterioration in some of the roof frame, which would have to be replaced before they could complete the job. To help us through this unexpected emergency, the folks at Gutters Unlimited (equally amazing!) contacted Wiedmann to see if they could get a crew out to give us an estimate for the repair. Joe B contacted us and came out to inspect the damage and discovered that there were a number of other problems with the existing roof that should also be addressed (e.g. no metal channels in the roof valleys). He gave us an estimate for the repair as well as an estimate for a complete replacement. The cost of a new roof was about four times the cost of a repair, so we decided to get a new roof. Definitely the right decision. Joe B gave me a detailed scope of work that showed exactly what I would be getting, including Tamko Titan 160 mph Shingles (39 squares), new drip edges, new goosenecks and ventilation stacks, peel and stick underlayment, replacement fascia wood and plywood, and of new valley metal--all top-of-the-line stuff. He was able to schedule the start date within two weeks of contract signing. Work began right on time and was done quickly and professionally in about three days. There was a fair amount of wear and tear to a lot of the underlying plywood, which requited replacing, but this did not slow down the installation crew at all. Daily clean up was meticulous. The bottom line is that Wiedmann stepped up to help us out of a jam, came through with a superlatively-engineered solution and gave us a remarkably fair price (significantly less than all of the estimates that we had received from some other roofers). During the entire process, communication was effortless. I ask a lot of annoying questions and they answered all of them patiently and clearly. Joe A was a fountain of information on design and installation and Emily offered tremendous assistance in dealing with permits and inspections. If you're looking for a new roof, save yourself some time and call Wiedmann."
