"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! They came out and replaced my roof in February. It has leaked 5 times since then. Instead of fixing the roof, they?ve added about 2 gallons of caulking around the ac unit. I told them it would still leak, they said no, and then it leaked again. And again. And again. And again. And again. I told them the water damage indoors would make my 40 pound ceiling light fall, they said no. The next morning it fell 14 feet about a foot away from my head. I had another leak last week (not shocking at all considering half the shingles are not laid properly, and they just ?fixed it? by slopping sealant all over a ?brand new roof?). This time they refused to fix the water damage inside, and PAINTED OVER the bubbling paint and damaged drywall. They never paid me for the light fixture, never fixed the tiles in my kitchen that got broken from the light falling. They never fixed my roof and they didn?t fix the water damage inside. I paid 20k for a new roof only to have ext"

"John and his crew did an outstanding job on our house. We required some repairs on the retaining wall and house. He walked me step by step through all the repairs, what they would do and what products would be used. He provided a few tips for the trim and accent colors. It took me over 2 months to get the necessary HOA approvals. John didn't change his price and did exactly what he outlined he would do. At the end we had the opportunity to walk around the entire house to see if we thought there were areas that needed touchup. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, reliable company that does an excellent job, you should hire John Shaw."

"S&R was great. Had a great price, started earlier than expected and finished on time. Thank goodness because some crazy monsoon rains started the day after they wrapped things up. They also were gracious enough to send pictures b/c we were out of town."

"His crew was amazing. They had the roof torn off so quickly I couldn't believe my eyes. While some were installing the underlayment felt sheets others were cutting and replacing the wood that needed replacing. The roof was done on the second day because there was great teamwork shown. They cleaned up any fallen materials and swept the area with a magnet bar to pick up any nails and staples. The area was cleaner then when they started. Highly recommend. "

"This was the best home maintenance experience I've ever had. The first visit for the quote was straight forward and I was never subjected to upselling. Roofs are basic. The labor is the same regardless of the choice of underlayment. Choose your underlayment and get a price. Next, the crew was outstanding. High attention to detail. The yard was cleaned to perfection we very day. Finally, something I didn't expect, that was a phone call after to encourage me to set an annual appointment in my calendar to request a yearly inspection during the warranty period. I have already recommended this company to friends and neighbors"

FAQs for flat, foam, or single ply roofing installation and replacement projects in Mesa, AZ

Many roofing pros point to PVC as the top performer on flat roofs thanks to its tough seams and long-term waterproofing. A properly installed PVC membrane can last 30 years or more, resisting ponding water and harsh weather with ease. You will pay more up front than you would for EPDM, but the added durability often translates into fewer repairs and a lower cost per year of service.

Yes, a rubber roof is an environmentally friendly choice. Most rubber membranes contain recycled content and can reflect heat, which helps trim cooling bills in hot weather. Manufacturing has a lighter footprint than many traditional materials, and the long lifespan means fewer tear-offs headed to the landfill. If sustainability is a priority, ask your roofer about brands that carry third-party eco-certifications and confirm they meet local environmental standards.
