"Work completed to date includes removal of a raised deck and construction of a flagstone patio in its place, strategic placement of stones to insure proper drainage, and the installation of shrubs, vines, and ground cover—all of which have transformed our outdoor living space. Keith is a perfectionist and his work is outstanding."

"This company did an overall good job.  The only exception is that they basically cut my crape myrtle in half after I discussed with the owner that I did not want it trimmed down that far.  The owner apologized and stated that he communicated my desire to his crew and that he would have a talk with them. <br />"

"I had purchased 2 ceiling fans, had sparks and popping coming from wall sockets, and some sockets did not work as well as a couple were burned around where plugs are inserted. I filled out a questionaire online and within 1 hour, I received a call from LiveWire Electric... told them the problem and they were at my home within 2 hours because they considered it to be an emergency. The situation was accessed, gave me an estimate, and completed the installation of 2 ceiling fans, found the problem with the electricity, fix the burned sockets, fixed the sockets that didn't work in and outside, and fixed a socket that was loose in less than 2 hours. I will definitely use them again if we have any more electrical issues and do not mind referring them to friends."

"Chris, the owner is very personable and super nice! I had to fire my contractors after a 4 week job turned into 9 and a lot of things were done wrong. Chris met with me the same day, helped me pick out the correct supplies and started at 7:45 the next morning and worked til 6:30- on a Saturday I might add. Our house was under refinance and the appraisal was to be done that following week. He had everything done in 3 days which would have taken my old contractor a month! He cleaned up after the old contractors left trash in my yard, and destroyed my house with mess! Chris cleaned up everything daily and left my house looking good before he left. He even hauled all the trash the old contractors left! I have to say he saved the day and my kitchen looks amazing thanks to him! I will be using him again for my bathrooms!"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Mexia, TX

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
