""I had a great experience with Water Floods Restoration, LLC for my residential mold inspection. The inspector, Oded Fahima, was extremely professional, punctual, and thorough. He took the time to answer all my questions and explained the process clearly, from the initial inspection to the lab results. The final report was easy to understand and gave me the information I needed to move forward. I highly recommend their services for anyone dealing with mold concerns in their home". "

"After having called several companies which did not impress, I called this company and spoke to Yoni. From the moment I met him, I knew he was the real deal. A lot of companies know how to remove mold, but with Yoni, I felt like he was a close, personal friend who had my back, and who I could trust to do the work, do it right, and in a timely fashion. I hired him to do a job and not only did he do it perfectly and professionally, but also he inspected my whole condo, found other issues and took care of them! In addition, after I had already paid him, he discovered another issue which he also took care of just out of the goodness if his heart. To say that he went above and beyond is a major understatement. I wish I could have paid him double his asking fee because he deserves it. Don't even give it a second thought; there is no better than Yoni and his company! Thank you Yoni, all the best."

"A full air analysis and moisture content analysis were done, the information was compiled into a remediation protocol. This company is very good at what they do and the protocol will serve to guide contractors to fix our issue. Very professional and courteous interactions were had with all contacts of this company. They were very thorough compared to similarly priced services and offered a more complete analysis than we could find elsewhere."

"I needed a 4pt inspection done to renew my insurance. I call FL Inspections Unlimited and they came to my home 2 days later. The inspector was professional and very helpful. He explained what he found and recommended the minor repairs needed. They were able to provide me with the report for my insurance within 2 days of inspecting my home. I found them reasonable priced and would use then again when the time comes."

"From start to finish, EEand G provided excellent service for what could have been a difficult process. Mr. Emmett and the crew are well experienced and professional. The material was removed with great care, leaving the original, historic boards in excellent condition. All of the nearly shrubbery were saved and the area around the house was left free of any debris. I'm grateful for such a stress-free experience. <br />"

"A very professional and respectable group of guys over at Rapid Restoration Recovery. Always on time and did excellent work. My unit had water damage, and they showed up and worked the problem out immediately. Upon completion of drying my unit out, they got to work restoring it back to pristine condition. We upgraded from our original set up, and the work they did was INCREDIBLE. The guys that put in the work, David and Logan, really showed dedication to making sure we were happy with the finished product. Alexandria, the Manager, made sure the process went without flaws! Highly recommend to all that are looking to spruce up their place! Give them a call today!"

"Spoke to Oscar several times regarding the work to be done on the home and he visited the home as well. He wrote up a proposal, we signed the proposal which stated 2 specific posts and 2 specific railings were to be replaced. Workers showed up promptly on Saturday May 31st and my husband was there to meet the men performing the work, Oscar did not show up on site. My husband noticed that a railing was removed, but it wasn't the railing that  we had wanted removed, so we called Oscar  promptly to let him know the workers were removing the wrong railing and he immediately got defensive stating that we (my husband and I) had signed a proposal and that he doesn't do work for free, etc. After hashing out the details over the phone, my husband offered to pay for half half of the labor, which we should not have been responsible to pay for any of it as it was a mistake on their part. of the labor and buy the materials since they were already int he middle of the job. The level of unprofessionalism that was displayed by this company Owner was not something we have ever dealt with before and we could not believe that he was blaming us for his lack or attention to detail during the preparation in the proposal. As a company owner he should have taken pictures of the area to be worked on and/or submitted drawings for us to sign off on so that there could be no mistake in what pieces of wood were to be replaced. When we spoke to him over the phone and he went to the home to review the areas, we assumed all parties were on the same page in terms of which pieces were to be replaced. <br />"

FAQs for toxic lead testing projects in Miami, FL

If your home was built before 1978, there’s a strong chance it contains lead-based paint. Many pre-1980 houses also contain lead in their plumbing and decorative materials, so age alone is a significant red flag. Older homes near industrial areas face an even higher risk. Because you can’t confirm lead by sight, scheduling a test is the safest way to protect your family.

In older houses, lead can lurk in painted trim, window sashes, soil around the foundation, plumbing pipes, and even vintage hardware. The metal is toxic, and children and pregnant women are most at risk. Exposure can trigger developmental delays, learning problems, and organ damage. Because the EPA links even low levels to serious health effects, test every suspected surface and address any hazards right away.

A positive test means lead is present somewhere you can touch, breathe, or disturb. The next step is a full risk assessment to map exactly where the hazard lies and outline the safest fix: encapsulation, enclosure, or full removal. Repairs start at $1,000 but can exceed $10,000 for complete elimination, so act quickly and hire certified pros to keep your family safe.

EPA lead certification proves that inspectors, risk assessors, and abatement contractors follow federal safety rules under the Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Program. The credential costs an average of $300, and certified professionals can legally test, contain, or remove lead hazards. Hiring a certified pro protects you from fines and ensures the work meets strict health standards.

Lead-based paint looks no different from any other paint, so you can’t identify it by color or sheen. Even flawless walls may hide it. If paint starts chipping, flaking, or peeling, schedule a professional test right away. Only laboratory-grade testing confirms lead and guides the safest fix for your home.
