"The price came under the quote. They came exactly when they said they would and they kept the area clean and came back twice to pick up roofing nails that landed in the grass. Everyone was polite and cleaned up after having lunch. I was so happy to find someone so honest and hardworking I called him to repair a tile on my house.

"I was sold on Darrell and his company on our first meeting. His crew was just as awesome. They arrived at sun up and did not leave until the sun was almost setting. They rarely took a break unless Mr. Turner (Darrell) insisted they do so. I made sure there were gallons of tea, ice, glasses, and snacks always available. His crew was not only efficient they were immaculately clean. Never leaving trash, a screw, a nail, anything, laying around. The crew allowed me to, not only explain my roof issues but show them as well so nobody was injured because of the faulty roof. They listened, they explained, and every day they took pictures of what they had accomplished. My 2014 sq. ft roof was completed in two days. Not only do I have a beautiful new roof but there is no signs of roofers ever being here. It simply does not get better than this. "Everyone at Solar Shield was very nice and professional. We had a few concerns when the moisture barrier was installed and we still had rain in our bedroom. Frank got it corrected the next day, and finished the roof the following week. The good news: very nice looking roof with no more leaks. The bad news: we got pictures of the hurricane straps installed and had the roof inspected by our insurance company. They found that the hurricane straps installed were not up to their standards and neither was the moisture barrier. They also found multiple slats (we didn’t have decking that covered the whole roof - old house) that were split and compromised during the work, so we were unable to qualify for any insurance discounts. Overall, we have a nice looking roof - top of the line from Solar Shield Industries. Hopefully, it will last a lifetime. But unfortunately, we have some decking remediation that needs to be done and we still need hurricane straps, which will probably be clips now. Not a big enough deal for me to raise a stink. I can retro clips and repair the few decking issues from the attic & under siding. And apparently, the moisture barrier is just not what the insurance company accepts as a “moisture barrier.”"

"Very well. Please look at my first review. This is a follow up review to tell you that we had a slight paint issue. Lechler's came out the next day, replaced the splash guard that he had installed because the correctly colored item hadn't arrived at the time of the initial installation. Not the only did he replace the part, he blew off leaves from he entire roof at no charge! We have received positive comments from our neighbors on how well they look. I've encouraged them to use Lechler gutters for their homes, too."
