"May, 2021. I would highly recommend Barlow Concrete. I am writing this review on my own accord; they don't know I'm posting this. After interviewing 4 contractors, I chose Barlow to make a 22"x 10' patio, front walkway, and driveway border to the property line. They gave me a very competitive price. I chose them because I felt the most comfortable with the project manager, Andrew. Andrew also gave me a construction date that was sooner than later - within 7 business days - and were quite flexible with me, as I had to work through an HOA. The crew was outstanding. Quick, efficient, and left a very remarkable product - including a solution to the driveway edging - which was to build in a curb. They taped everything off and cleaned up the area very well. This company cares. In the early evening, Andrew came by to check the work and my satisfaction with it. That rarely happens nowadays. I am tremendously pleased."

"John's crew did a GREAT job on my front steps. They first removed the crumbling concrete and block, framed up the steps, reinforced them from inside prior to pouring the cement, reduced the rise to make them safer-- and so then added another step. My family at the house is telling me how much better they are - not just the repair due to the crumbling, but the noticeable difference made by the change in rise.  John was extremely flexible, working with me on a few other situations which arose beforehand. The job was completed in a timely manner, despite an intervening holiday. "The estimator, Dennis accommodated my scheduling requests, and changes in the contract, he was there as well, when the resurfacing started. My driveway needed a specific piece of machinery; so they used their subcontractor, which was excellent too. F&M came back 3 days later, backfilled, mulch, and seeded the bare spots, then a rep came by to check on the finished project. I love the look of my driveway now and would recommend F&M to friends and family!"

"My driveway had deterioration but was serviceable. It had been coated with different agents in the past 20+ years. Tri State explained the effects of these agents and how my driveway would look after their application due to these previous applications. The driveway had developed wear cracks and was in need of a thick seal-coat to renew appearance and stop aging wear and tear. Where previous attempts at repair had resulted in enlarged cracks and one pothole, Tri State took the time to explain the the most cost effective approach and let me decide how I wanted to proceed. I elected to follow Tri State's approach and their application of seal-coat was supplemented by crack patching compound that blended with the seal-coat resulting in a smooth, integrated finish. Given the situation, I feel it was the best outcome achievable without cutting up or putting down new asphalt. I was also impressed with the skill the contractor demonstrated when using <em>quality equipment</em>  that put the coat on a in smooth, continuous manner that restored the driveways appearance. Using a roller near the garage door was a a pro touch. Will definitely use again. A very professional job at a reasonable price. The agent arrived early and completed the job promptly. Highly recommended. <br />"

"If I could give an A+ rating in all above categories, I would do so. Our rough, ugly unfinished lower level laundry area was transformed into an inviting, functional space and, at the same time, our 1970's bathroom was remodeled and updated with new fixtures, a recessed medicine cabinet, lighting and tile flooring. The owner, Brian was great to work with. He not only designed these projects to accommodate my specific needs and wants, but also had the vision and design skills to make suggestions that maximized the storage and layout to fully utilize every inch of available space. He added a storage alcove and pegboard wall for cleaning and ironing supplies, built a closet to hide the heating unit, and designed and installed a storage wall of upper and lower wood cabinets with a countertop and clothes hanging rod. We are completely satisfied with the quality of the finished work in both areas and appreciated Brian's neatness and respect for our home. He used protective cloths over our floors, and cleaned up construction dust and debris daily. I never expected to enjoy the entire design and renovation process, but I did. Wenkat's owner was reliable, organized and made optimal use of time so the project was completed on time. We will enjoy these renovations for years to come."
