"Danny Siders of Absolute Kitchens and Baths recently updated our kitchen and our master bath. In the kitchen he installed new Wilsonart High Definition laminate countertops, Nova laminate flooring, a tiled backsplash behind the stove, a new Blanco sink, a new Delta faucet, and new drawer pulls. In the bathroom, he raised the cabinets to a better height, installed new Wilsonart High Definition laminate countertops, new sinks, and tiled the floor and the surround of the garden tub. Under the tile floor, he installed a radiant heater. Several years ago, he redid our shower. He was able to find the same tiles he used in that job so that the bathroom tiles all match. This was a large job and we are very happy with how it looks and of our experience with Danny. Over the last 5 years, Danny has renovated 2 other baths and the sink in the laundry room. We have always been extremely happy with the work he has done. The things I appreciate when working with Danny are the ideas he adds to the projects, the craftsmanship he puts into the project, his finishing touches, and his helpfulness. Danny showed up for the initial consult with books of materials and ideas. He listened to what we wanted and then pulled on his experience to help us decide on the best materials for the job. He was aware of new materials and new techniques. We told him our goals and he helped us choose the best materials for the project. He did not push his ideas but helped us clarify ours. Once the project started, he arrived daily at the same time or told us ahead if he would not be there. He cleaned up at the end of the day and caused minimal interruptions to life outside the work area. He is meticulous in his prep work for the project as well as the actual installation. Seams match, edges of tiles are bullnosed where needed, and colors and stains match what was already in the house. One of the most impressive finishing touches was the kick plates under the cabinets and the edgings of the new floor. He used wood edgings that he stained to match the counters and the existing edges of the floor. It gives the new floor a seamless look with the rest of the house. I appreciate Danny’s reliability, craftsmanship, and his attention to finishing details. Danny was also helpful and persistent when we increased the scope of the project and added some additional flooring. The Nova flooring has become increasingly difficult to obtain and when we wanted the small bathroom also refloored, he needed to order more. It was a challenge finding a source for the flooring and then the first shipment came in wrong. Danny worked through all the hassles necessary to get the floor we wanted. He also fixed sticky drawers and a poorly designed waste basket drawer. Not only does our kitchen look wonderful, but the drawers finally all work as they should. At the very end, two of the flooring boards in the small bathroom slipped. Danny readily came back to fix them for no charge. Thank you, Danny, for your perseverance in getting materials and fixing problems along the way. I also appreciate that Danny will call me back and accepts my decisions without recourse to my husband. I have dealt with other contractors who always wanted my husband to concur or only called back when my husband called. Needless to say, I only worked with them one time. Danny Siders has done beautiful work on our renovations. We are very happy with the outcome and with the ease of working with Danny. "It went beautifully!  There were some minor delays due to the weather down south, but Rob at Lake Carpet & Flooring was always right on top of everything. Rob was very prompt in returning emails and phone calls  -  always professional and cordial, he made sure to keep me updated each step of the way - something I don't always get from service providers. 
I love my new carpeting!  Rob and his associate had the carpet installed and vacuumed and furniture put back in about 5 hours. 
It was a pleasure dealing with this company and I would definitely recommend them to anyone interested in flooring.

"Our construction is a two phase project. Carrie was involved in the flooring decisions from the design stage on. It had been nearly 30 years since we had purchased carpet and she provided valuable product information and advice. She was in contact with our building contractor and communicated all installation information to the contractor as well as me. Mike's installation was exactly at the time scheduled; the work was completed beautifully and neatly. All three rooms are carpeted to our complete satisfaction. Now phase two of our project in underway (This is a remodel of the existing whole house). Carrie is again involved in the selection process for five areas in this phase. "The caulk around some (most) of our house windows was dry and cracking. Jaime re-caulked the windows for us. We have had him do work for us before, and as usual he did a great job."

"We had a flood due to a water supply line break in our under our kitchen sink.  The cabinet under our sink, as well as our hardwood floors were extremely wet due to the amount of water that gushed out of the burst lines.  Additionally, our basement was also affected (it was raining through the ceiling) and the ceiling and floor tiles were ruined.  Puro Clean came out that day, inspected the damage and brought in the equipment the next morning.  We were very happy with the professionalism of the Puro Clean staff and are confident our home is sufficiently dry to make repairs to affected areas.  We cannot comment yet on the price as we have not received a bill yet."

"I removed old carpet and padding from the living and dining rooms. The hardwood flooring had beautiful grain and character, but also a lot of damage. Some of the wood grain was raised and there were a lot of stains, some of which were black. I thought it might be a lost cause, but contacted Teppo Interiors through Angie's List for an opinion on refinishing and an estimate.
Kevin Teppo described the process and what results I could realistically expect. It wasn't a lost cause, but it would not be like new either. He was more optimistic about the results than I. He pointed out the crack in the ceiling and that there was no quarter-round on the woodwork, both of which his crew could take care of. There was no pressure to sign or up-selling. I appreciated that.
They were able to start on the job earlier than expected, which was perfect. I removed everything from both rooms.
Evening before sanding: They taped and plastered the ceiling crack. I applied two coats of paint. That was not expected of me but I had the time. It was one less thing for them to do the next morning.
Day 1: Three man crew arrived on time, sanded the floors and applied the walnut stain. I was warned about the fumes, so I boarded my dog for this time frame. The doorways were sealed with plastic to keep the fumes contained as well as possible.
Day 2-4: Sanding and a coat of polyurethane, 3 coats total. The crew arrived on time and were very efficient and polite.
Day 5: Quarter-round was installed. They moved the dining room table and TV stand back into the rooms. Job complete.
