He replaced the rotting wooden trim around four of our windows, replaced sections of our siding which were in rough shape, fixed a soffit and fascia that were water-damaged due to a poorly set up gutter, and a few other smaller repairs. "I call Shaun on a Wednesday to get an estimate on installing on a new roof on our home in New London, CT. We made an appointment and Shaun was at our home promptly at the appointed time. I told him that I thought we needed a new roof and that we had had a leek. He inspected the roof and told me it was old but would last for a few more seasons. We live in another state and wanted the roof replaced. He gave us a price which was in the ballpark of what i expected to pay. What sold me on SJM was that they had another job delay and he could have a crew here tomorrow. At 9:00 a dumpster was delivered and at 9:30 a crew of seven workers. arrived. By 5:00 pm his crew had completed the job, the job was inspected by the City and every thing was cleaned up. I would give SJM my highest recommendation. The only thing that did not go well was that some of my shrubs were crush. Shaun wanted to pay for them, but they will come back.. It was a pleasure working with SJM Roofing."

"From beginning to end, it was a great experience -- surprisingly great, in fact.  Our garage was getting old, and we were trying to figure out what do do about it.  We invited Mr. Harris out to our house and -- surprise # 1 -- he seemed far more interested in helping us figure out what actually needed to be done than in talking us into hiring him.  We agreed that the roof needed replacing, but -- surprise # 2 -- he didn't want a materials deposit until he could give us a firm start date.  He estimated that he could get to it in about four weeks but -- surprise # 3 -- actually got to it much earlier than that.  He gave us a start date and -- surprise # 4 -- the crew showed up and did the work on the promised day.  And the roof looks just terrific -- which, after surprises 1-4 -- really wasn't a surprise at all!  We've already hired him for a number of other projects and can't say enough good about his work & his service!!!!!!"
