"I can't speak highly enough about this company. When I called to arrange an on site visit for an estimate, they showed up on time and listened to everything I had to say about the job. I was given a written quote on the spot (something I rarely see from contractors), so I offered them the job. To my surprise, he said he could get started the very next day (a Saturday) and that they would be able to finish the following Monday when the deck had dried off. They arrived to start the job when they said they would, and got to work right away. I was concerned I would need to move the stuff we have on the decks, but they told me they could simply move them to the side and then move them back when they were done. They did exactly that, and everything was put back to its original position when they were finished. They were power washing all day, and were very thorough. When they came back two days later, they again went to work right away rebuilding the stairs and water sealing the deck. The stairs look great! They even added a step so the bottom step could sit more securely on the concrete (it had been resting on a cinder block before being rebuilt). They advised to wait 1-2 days for the water sealer to dry before using the decks, we paid them, and they did a great job cleaning up when they left. I wish all contractors we hired were as efficient and straightforward as the people working at Melvin Power Wash. I will absolutely call on them again when my decks need maintenance, or if my house needs a wash."

"Bob Griffin is a true professional. A list of projects he completed on my home follows . Note that I was "5-Star" impressed with his work in every area. - Soft wash of roof, exterior siding, and patio - Apply two coats of Cabot's bleaching stain to home exterior - finish all fixtures (hinges, handles, and all fixtures) - Caulk and / or putty all areas exposed ( cracks, splits, etc..) - He was hired to "soft" power wash my home and then apply two coats of Cabot's bleaching oil to the 7 year old cedar shingles. Bob showed up. on time, worked a full day, and kept me informed of all progress. The "soft" power wash left the roof and exterior of the home in beautiful condition. He also added a soft wash of the back patio; again, it came out beautiful and was a task he threw in no-charge. He applied caulk and wood putty as required to protect any cracks or gaps in the surface. He then went on to refinish all the black hinges, handles and fixtures. These details really made a difference. I was so impressed with all of the above that I asked Bob to return to paint the cellar. Once again, Bob sought the right paint and primer for the job and covered the walls and floor of this old cellar in record time. We can not get over the improvement to the home while under Bob's control. Finally, I was always so impressed with Bob's initiative. He helped declutter the cellar before starting the paint without so much as a word. His pricing is more than fair in every way. He is a very nice man and I am happy to have met him. He strives to exceed every customer's needs. He is something special and earns 5 stars in every area."

"Work quality was great. While I did not ask for it, they cleaned my gutters too. However, when it was all done - the owner told me I had a balance due. I had purchased an "all inclusive" package from Angie's List which was to include the whole house pressure washed and cleaning of up to 20 windows. I have less than 20 windows. When I asked with the balance due was for, I was told that it was for cleaning the gutters. I told her I did not ask her to clean the gutters. We "settled" on a price lower than they originally requested but I was not too thrilled with the way it was handled. Great work ethic and quality...a little to be desired in the business acumen. I paid $349 to Angies List for the Pressure washing and window cleaning but ended up having to pay another $100 for the gutters."
