"The crew was unprofessional in their topics of conversation. They left metal brackets on the ground that could have cut my dog's feet. They did not install the leaf guard and told the salesman that I changed my mind, when I didn't. There seems to be an overall lack of communication between sales and the installers. I ended up having to schedule them to come back to finish the job properly. The salesman did attempt to make it right by giving me a 10% discount, which was appreciated."

"Jamie came when scheduled, he had the tools and materials needed to get my gutters firmly bolted on to my house with the proper length bolts needed ( which had not happened with a previous company) . The original assessment was thorough and had great pictures and description of what needed to be done. I also had a vent cap missing that I had planned to attempt to replace myself, but he measured and sent pictures and I purchased the cap and Jamie screwed it on for me. "In June of this year we needed to have our 9 year old house painted, along with replacing some weather damaged trim around our windows. We hired a painting contractor who claimed to know what he was doing. Instead of replacing the trim he tried to caulk, fill, and cover up the old rotten boards. He watered down the paint and then proceeded to use one very thick coat instead of the two coats he promised. He ended up destroying our soffit and siding. He also damaged the weep holes on most of our lower level windows. We were left with a huge mess, and lost half the money we paid up front. "Sears' package of services allowed me to worry very little because they coordinated all the trades. Sears has a longstanding reputation for standing behind their products, something I had not found to be true with other contractors I had used in the past. Thecarpenter/job coordinator who did the refacing work was wonderful to work with, making minor modifiations as necessary to fit my needs.  I had not originally intended to purchase new appliances, but Sears offered me such a great discount that I added a new cooktop, double ovens (which required some cabinet modifications), and a dishwasher, which were installed by the carpenter.  He also coordinated the quartz countertop and flooring installations. All of the work Sears did was well done and professional. After the job was completed, I noticed that a door in the den that had to be cut off to accommodate the new flooring was a bit rough, and they sent the carpenter back to fix it within a week. I was somewhat concerned that I would not like the laminate used to reface the wood cabinets, but it has turned out to be very attractive, more durable than wood, and easy to clean.  No one can even find the seams in the quartz countertop or the Congoleum flooring, so I feel that their workmen are very experienced and skilled. I not only would recommend Sears to others, I would use them again for other work."

"Everything Keith painted he carefully prepared in advance first. It looked fantastic!
The basement bedroom had a terribly ugly ceiling. Large globs of old plaster dotted the entire surface. It would have taken a great deal of work to smooth out and was not worth the expense. Keith suggested adding a subtle texture--which corrected the issue in no time.
In addition to the work which I hired him to do, Keith was willing to offer advice on the smaller tasks which I planned to do myself. His suggestions saved me many steps and helped me make the house look more attractive without additional expense. 
Keith was surprisingly accurate at estimating how long each project would take to complete. There were a few times when I thought perhaps he could have completed a project faster--but then I would look at the finished work. Quality work takes time. 
I plan to hire Keith again--this time to finish the repairs on my new home while I can still enjoy them.
