He tore out the driveway and created the new lane and let us drive it for a week or so before he paved to make sure that was what we wanted. Rain delayed us a bit, but he was always in contact. When he and his sons came out to pave, they took such care and pride in what they did. We had gotten ripped off by another contractor years ago and they quelled our reservations and fixed all the problems. They were just here yesterday to seal it after 90 days and it looks amazing. I would HIGHLY recommend them."

Charles Dewar, Stone Mason, was founded in 2004 and is located in Lexington, Kentucky, specializing in dry laid walls, paving, specialty stone fabrication, letter cutting, farm/estate entrances and memorials/headstones. Charles Dewar is a stone mason and site manager for Charles Dewar, Stone Mason. Mr. Dewar grew up in Ballingarry, County Limerick, Ireland in his family's 200-year old castle, where he developed his love of stone structures and all things stone. His particular interests are fabrication of unique pieces and letter cutting. Mr. Dewar has an extensive background in fabrication, restoration and general stone masonry through a Central Kentucky stone masonry company where he got his start. There, Mr. Dewar spearheaded the stone fabrication and custom hand-lettering of that business and worked on noteworthy projects such as fabricating stone steps for the renovation of the Old Governor's Mansion in Frankfort, Kentucky. He also fabricated stone steps and foundation pieces for historic property renovations in Kentucky.
