"Mr. Carter came highly recommended and is one of Angie's List top contractors. It was very easy to see why he has earned that rating. First of all, he was patient with me and I really appreciated that. His attention to detail in preparation and completion is top rate. I would, and will, use him again in the future. He is the type of person that you can trust to do a good job. The only glitch in the whole process was Mother Nature and we had no control over that. In spite of that, Howard removed some concrete he had poured and replaced it after the rain made it unworkable. Cannot say enough nice things about he and his crew. <br /> <br /> UPDATE!!! After about 7 or 8 months I noticed the surface was scaling off. This is precisely why I had the old drive replaced. I asked Mr. Carter before the job what would happen if this situation occurred. His reply, "You call me and I come fix it!" I did call him in about April telling him of the problem. It was apparently caused by salt from our vehicles. His response was, "I had this problem with 2 or three jobs I think the concrete was bad. I will, at no cost to you, come pressure wash and apply sealer". I declined! His claim of Warranty is "Satisfaction" and that did not satisfy me. He's happy - he got his money. The concrete guy is happy - he got his money. I am left with a crappy looking job. Mr. Carter was to call me back in week after he checked his schedule. It's been about 6 months of weeks and no response. Be careful!!"
