"We hired Original Chimney Sweep after just buying our first house. Completely clueless, we were hoping they would be able to inspect and clean both the chimney for our wood burning stove, fireplace, and the chimney for our furnace. Imagine our surprise when they arrived and told us they'd been to the house before, serviced it, and even relined one of the chimneys; great information that the seller hadn't told us. The chimney sweep John was extremely professional, pleasant, and told us our chimneys didn't require cleaning. It's rare to find a company who only recommends work when it really needs to be done. They make recommendations without pushing for a sale, and we happily paid for an inspection to have their expertise and experience about how to care for our new home. "The project went very well. Their service guy called in advance to confirm the appointment, called to confirm his arrival time and arrived on time. He took care with his equipment, acted professionally, asked questions and listened well, and took great care with his ladder to be gentle with our house. He also took pictures of the damaged and rusted chimney cap so I could see the extent of the damage (since we can't climb to the roof). He was efficient and finished the project in less time than quoted. Finally he checked in before leaving to walk through his work, answer question and what to look for in case of future problems."

John diagnosed the problem with the chimney flue (a former contractor who re-pointed the bricks dropped concrete into the flue, essentially cutting off all air) and made all the repairs. The masonry is aligned properly and looks beautiful. The sealer was a suggestion by Mr. Dintino because our chimney is on the north side of the house and does not get sunlight. We see it has made a difference and are very happy we went with the suggestion. "After contacting Above All Roofing I was quickly notified by Cyle. He was very polite, professional and courteous. We agreed on a time that worked best for me and he showed up exactly when he said he would! After inspecting the roof it was determined that the missing flashing from my chimney was most likely the culprit. Within a day or 2 I was emailed a quote to fix the flashing and also a full roof replacement quote. I decided to go with the full roof replacement. Once again I contacted Cyle and he set up an appointment to meet and was once again there when he said he would be. Once the contract was signed a day was set up for installation. The crew that showed up was awesome! Chris, Cyle and the rest of the crew showed up early and did not stop at all!
