"It went well! I expected it to take a long time to get it picked up, but I called for the bag to be emptied on Friday and they were here Saturday! I am already filling it up again. "I hired Brian owner of a Few Good Tradesmen many years ago to do some electrical work and he has since done about 20 projects for me, all of which have come in on time and within budget.  Brian is more than a contractor, he gives you ideas on how to do projects, creatively working with your space and budget . He has since done many different types of jobs from completely renovating bathrooms to building additions and rewiring a whole house. He knows how to manage crews and takes responsibility when one of the subs doesn't show up or does a poor job. "I had a door hung and some plastering work done.  The door install was great, the rest looks like a mess and will need to be done again/finished.

"The original deal I bought was for 1 person for 6 hours. Somehow there was a scheduling mix-up, and on the day I expected them, they didn't come. When I called, the scheduling mistake became apparent. The person on the phone was very apologetic, and told me no one could come. But, maybe 20 minutes later, she called back and said, she could send two people for three hours now. I agreed, and they arrived soon after. Evidently someone else had canceled, so I was lucky.
They were cheerful and friendly. They knew what they were doing, had the appropriate tools to accomplish my task list, and didn't leave a mess. They worked efficiently and got my list of things done early. They hung pictures for me in the remaining time, and did all that annoying measuring etc, as well as dealing with a wall that doesn't like to take nails. It's been some time since they did the work, and I'm happy to say that their efforts have held up. The gate has remained stable, the re-hung door works great, etc. In contrast to some others I've hired whose work has not held up.
I would be happy to use this company again, and it was great to get all those things taken care of.
