"Holland Homes was one of four contractors I was interested in regarding roofing repairs for my home. Robert Melvin contacted me and set up a date within two days to come by my house and provide me an estimate.  <br /> Robert was prompt on keeping the scheduled appointment. He is a very nice young man and he handles himself in a very professional and respectful manner. I know you may think this is strange to make a comment regarding these qualities regarding Robert; however, as I get older, respect and honor showed towards our elders is disappearing. I have encountered many contractors who do nor understand the need to treat people with respect, especially their elders (I am 58 years young), <br /> Robert asked the correct questions, took notes and ensured he understood exactly what I was asking for regarding the work that needed to be done. <br /> The proposal estimate was delivered in a timely manner on the agreed upon date. The proposal was very professional in appearance. It listed exactly what work would be performed and the associated costs for each of the items. <br /> The only reason for not choosing Holland Homes is that the total costs were a little higher than an equal competitor in the local market. <br /> I will definitely consider Holland Homes if I have roofing needs in the future, or if I know of someone needing roofing work I will gladly refer them to consider Holland Homes as a potential contractor to complete the work. <br />"

"Tony came (3/3/22). As always he did a great job. The washing machine flooded in the morning and Tony came that afternoon. Checked all the pipes and washing machine. Took care of the issue and made sure to clean up after. Tony is very professional and explains the problem and solution in a way the lay person can understand. He is also a great guy. Very pleasant and fun to talk too. Dixie is not the cheapest in town, however you get what you pay for. We've been care-plan members for several years and it has paid off bigtime!! I highly recommend Tony and Dixie."

"I was looking for a unique Christmas gift for my wife and she had mentioned how it sure would be nice to have a clean house...not smart enough to get my wife's indirect hint that I clean the house myself, I immediately started doing research on house cleaning services and came upon some great recommendations for A&B Professional Cleaning Services on Angie's List, and I am glad that I did.  Kathy came out the day I called to do an walk-through of the house (3 floors (1 a finished basement) with over 4000 square feet of living space).  She was detailed in her analysis and told me she would get back with me with an estimate once she had gone over her notes.  While she told me she was not the least expensive cleaning service in town, she was extremely committed to the quality of work she would provide.  She quoted me $625.00 for a deep cleaning of the entire house (which I would expect had not been done in the 3 years since I have owned the house and the 4 years it was rented out prior to my purchasing it) and said it would take about 6-7 hours with 4-5 cleaning ladies.  We scheduled it for two days prior to the Superbowl (as I was having a party that weekend).  Even with the snow storms in the area causing a lot of havoc with schedules - she was able to ensure that she showed up and got the house cleaned prior to our party.  After 8 hours of work on the first day (4 ladies cleaning), Kathy told me that she would like 4 additional hours the next day to finish the work (3 cleaning ladies completed the job) to ensure she met her own high standards of quality.  My wife and I were extremely happy with the work she and her crew did on our house.  And though she took longer than she originally expected to complete the work needed (we have 3 kids), she did not increase the price - I truly believe we got more than we expected.  I would recommend this crew to anyone looking for a house cleaning service - Great job Kathy! <br />"

"The owner came out originally to survey the project; took the time to answer all of my questions; and pointed out some things needing attention that I was not previously aware of. He then gave me a quote of $300 which I gladly accepted. Following that, two members of his crew came out several different times to work on fixing the leak, and then to make sure that the leak had in fact been repaired. After that they installed the new window sill, and then painted it with the exact same trim cover as the previous sill had. They were personable and always ensured my approval of the work performed before departing. (I have attached "before" and "after" photos. The black streaks on the "after" photo are my doing.)"
