"Great to work with - good communication throughout the process . Quick response to my request for a quote which was competitive with others I received. Work was started when indicated. We had 2 retaining walls (the larger one 6.5 ft. tall x 43 ft) and steps replaced. The 2 person crew was on time, worked all day (weather permitting for February). Their work in integrating the steps was impressive; and we appreciated the precision in cutting the caps and ensuring the corners were mitered exactly. Looks great. We are very happy with the outcome and have some additional work we will be using them for in the future."

"We were fortunate to have been contacted by Pete Vilardo, a skilled mason with many years of experience. We live in a 100 year old home with cracks between the bricks on the outside of the house, with large cracks on the inside basement wall corresponding to the cracks on the outside. Also, on the steps and wall leading to our backyard there were several large loose stones which had the potential of causing a fall risk. Pete was very professional, explaining what needed to be done and why, always on time and completely cleaned the work areas. He paid close attention to detail, mixing the correct amount of ingredients in the cement he used in order to match the color of the cement between the bricks. He expertly filled in the cracks in the basement wall and stabilized the stones steps and stone wall leading to the backyard. I can truly say Mr. Vilardo does excellent work and exceeded our expectations."

"I asked to have the bricks leveled and tightened in specific patio areas, some major tree work, and a spring cleanup. As a follow-on, I planned to use them for routine cleanup and misc. work this summer. They told me it would be 2 weeks for the tree work and 3-4 for the landscaping. To our surprise and without notice they showed up the following work day. That really wasn't a problem but it would have been nice to have some notice to prepare for them. The patio brick work done was excellent however on their own they decided to put vertical/raised brick edges on the areas on which they worked causing the rest of the patio edges that were not raised to be done to look the same way. Also, additional landscaping was required at my expense to raise grassy areas adjacent to the raised brick edges to compensate for the higher vertical brickwork. The original contract sent to me to sign included the removal of several shrubs as an option. I clearly crossed out and removed this from the contract when I returned the contract to them because I wanted to wait and do that work myself over the next 24 months. However, on the first day they removed the shrubs anyway and installed new ones. During the project, I asked for additional brick work to be done. The brick work they do is that good- it made some other areas look bad so I had them do those as well and asked them to add some gray oval river stone (house and garage are gray) to some edge areas. However, they laid down brown, various colors and sized river rock and put it in an area where I didn't want it. They replaced and fixed that without issue. When the bill came they charged me for the labor to make the patio edges consistent all around and the labor and shrub costs for installing the new shrubs I didn't want. I complained. After some hankering they adjusted the bill for the extra labor. Bottom line, Terra does excellent work but you have to be very careful to over-communicate what you want done with them. They blew it with me when they charged me for labor for work they created by not following their own contract, and then made me argue and negotiate with them about it with them to get the bill corrected. I didn't appreciate that part. It should have been right the first time."

Jeff came out, gave me his advice on the type of stone and finalized a scope of work to approve.  He worked me into the schedule within 30 days and executed flawlessly.  It took 2 days for his crew to complete the job.  Well done!!!

"I had crumbling steps and a back cement sidewalk behind my duplex. There was quite a slope to the back yard as well which prevented me from even attempting to install a paver/brick patio myself. I had 5 Angie's list companies give me quotes and Correy Fletcher was the most professional, punctual and gave me a rendering of the job along with the quote. It was exactly was I was looking for--it was actually better than I what I had envisioned. While I wanted to write a review sooner, I'm glad that I've waited over 18 months. As I said there was quite a slope to my yard and a small retaining wall had to be built to support the deck, which they filled up with dirt and grass seed, however after 2 winters and lots of traffic, the patio is still in perfect condition and my neighbors and I use it regularly. I would use Fletcher Brick Paving again in a heartbeat! I don't see how to leave photos or I would, Correy's rendering looks just like the final product!"
