"Called for appointment and was able to get within 2 weeks. Austin called in advance to say he was on way. He clearly explained what he was checking and what would occur. He replaced sump pump and check valve, resealed radon cover, and then checked outside to see where sump was draining to. Finally, he tested street drainage with water from the hose. I was very happy with Amanda Plumbing and would use them again, and was happy with Austin's work. I may use in the spring to downspout and drain cleaning. My usual plumber would have only replaced the sump, but would not do drain checking. Amanda is more of a full service plumber, since they handle plumbing, drains, and sewers"

"I had tried several different ways to unclog the standing water in the disposal side of the sink with no success. The plumber arrived and was about to disassemble the drainpipe when we tried the switch one last time—and it worked to clear the clog. The plumber said since he really didn’t do anything, there would be no charge, even no trip charge. I was very impressed with the company’s approach and will use them the next time they are needed."

"Heath and his crew carefully excavated around the area of the suspected blockage or break and found that the original drain line had not been properly connected when it was originally installed and had caused the four-inch plastic drain line to become clogged with mud and stop working. Heath connected the four-inch drain line as it should have been connected when it was originally installed. He connected the drain line from the house and the existing clean-out pipe to the existing drain line with a 45 degree elbow. <br /> Before I called Eand B Wooley, I had started to install a collection sump box where the four-inch line connects to the six-inch farmer's tile drain line. Heath connected the lower end of the green four-inch PVC drain line to the six-inch farmer's tile drain line and my collection sump box with another 45 degree elbow to complete the installation. He tested the connection and the water flow to make certain the line was draining properly before filling in the area he had excavated. After confirming that the drain lines were working, he carefully filled in the areas of excavation and leveled the ground to make certain damage to the surrounding grass was minimized. <br /> I was completely impressed by the professional work Heath and his crew accomplished to isolate, identify and correct the problem of the original installation. Heath's services were very cost-effective. While the results of the new installation haven't been tested by a heavy rain and high ground water, I'm confident the system will work better than originally installed. <br /> I highly recommend Eand B Wooley for anyone's excavation and drain line problem-solving and repair. <br />"

"The work went very well. Two technicians came and they got the job done in less than a hour. Unclogging the kitchen sink required clearing the drain. Anticipating they'd need to clear the drain, I emptied out the cabinet underneath the sink. However, the work was done through an outside drainpipe that connects to the septic system. There were several options & corresponding costs for the service -- [if I'm understanding correctly] the essence of which would be clearing the drain with progressively tool[s] and a warranty-- the most expensive option was $400+. I didn't opt for the more expensive service. The option I selected was a regular drain clearing, which includes a camera scoping of the drain pipe once the line is cleared, which I've scheduled for another day. I had a smaller problem with a bathroom sink. The stopper was not allowing the water to drain at a regular pace. At no extra cost, the tech tweaked/ adjusted the stopper height and now the sink drains fine."

"After the septic tank was drained, the technician made sure the water from the house was draining properly.  He spent a lot of time waiting while I flushed the toilets and ran the rinse cycle of the washing machine.  Once he was satisfied with the amount of the water flow, he packed up all of his hoses and equipment. <br />"

"Prior to calling Drain Busters, we had Professional Gutter & Drain (PG&D) come to clear our clogged sump pump/drain tile. PG&D ran their snake, reported that they could not remove the blockage, billed us $275 & provided an estimate of $1300 to run a new drain to the street. Frustrated, I called DrainBusters. Their crew arrived the day after I called, with drain cleaning tools that PG&D apparently does not have, as DrainBusters cleared the blockage within 30 minutes, for ¼ of the cost of PG&D's estimate. DrainBusters' crew were friendly, polite & professional. I highly recommend them."

"Basement flooded and Mike came out the next day and cleared our main drain. Mike also looked around the basement and found another floor drain and cleared the drain by grinding out the tree roots that were blocking it. Mike recommended that we have the city remove the tree or we would continue to have problems with the root system. We are already taking steps with the city to do so. Mike was very informative and we appreciate the services provided."

"Our home's exterior water drains were either collapsed, blocked, or pitched towards our home. This has been building up to some potential foundation damage as each time the sump pump ran, most all of the water would back up through the down spouts.  Other areas of the yard had developed little valleys where the failed drain pipes existed.   Over the winter, all of the possible water flow points had frozen up causing flooding in our basement.   This job was too much for me to think about handling, and I had been dreading both the expense and thinking what my yard would look like by having the pipes dug up or new ones installed.   <br /> <br /> After reading the reviews, I decided to give the Drain Connection a call.  I was glad I called in the winter before demand got out of control.   Andy came out, listened to my concerns, described how he would handle the job, assured me his team would repair any cuts to my sprinkler system, and told me there would be a lot of dirt that would need to be placed somewhere.  What really surprised me was that the estimate I was provided was HALF what I thought this was going to cost.    They also took care of calling OUPS to mark all utility lines.   <br /> <br /> The crew showed up around 8:30 and they were done by 2pm.  They did exactly what they said they would do, and MORE.   They used a sod cutter before digging any tenches, making the grass repair easy.  They repaired all the sprinkler system cuts, using the right fittings;  repaired the invisible dog fence; made sure the new drain pipes were pitched away from the house; cut new holes in the curb for the new lines.   <br /> <br /> - The material used and installation makes me very confident I will never have to worry about this problem again. <br /> - The team was highly professional and cared about their work AND customers (one worker said he has worked for Andy for 16+ years) <br /> - Cost of work was very fair. Yes $2500 is a lot, but LOOK at the pictures of the work they did. <br /> - Oh yeah, that extra dirt? They used it to build up my beds around the house.  They didn't just heap it there in chunks of clay either, they chunked it up. <br /> - The BONUS...my yard looks like they were never there!!!"
