"I have worked with a number of the stone suppliers in Central Ohio so I had a level of expectation for this type of work. From my initial contact with Konkus, I was amazed and blown away by the treatment I received and the quality of customer satisfaction I received! My first call was to a representative who deals with commercial accounts. She referred me to Brandi Croak. Brandi sensed my urgency and I went to their facility the same afternoon. We looked at a number of pieces and selected a product which we agreed would work. An appointment to measure the workspace was scheduled. A contractor here dropped the ball on the installation of the final cabinet so when the technician arrived to take the laser measurements, he worked around my contractors. Once a price was agreed upon, the scheduling coordinator went to work. I needed everything accomplished yesterday, Heidi worked her magic and the work commenced. The installers arrived five minutes early and each went to his task immediately. Stone in a home is a welcome and important finish. The job can be a big struggle if you select the wrong vendor. The day I called Konkus Granite opened the door to a new experience. Professionalism, competitive pricing, wide product selection and punctuality are the hallmarks of Konkus. I have and will continue to refer them to everyone!"

"From initial onset, Walter and his guys were extremely professional and a pleasure to work with.  It is clear they have your best interest in mind and you can tell that with every person you meet from this company.  We did have a bit of a set back when we picked out the stone from the supplier in that the second stone had a crack that neither of us knew about.  When we went to look at the stone and noticed it, we called Walter right away and he said he would meet us right away at the stone yard (this was on a Saturday)!  Given that the stone we picked was extremely expensive (one of the most expensive in the lot), he carefully measured and found it that it would not fit for our project so he worked with the supplier and got us a new slab.   <br /> When planning the layout on the stone, Walter's expertise was invaluable and he helped us to determine the best piece for our island and surrounding pieces. We also had a bit of a setback regarding our bathroom counter installation and Walter was more than willing to accommodate our schedule and actually agreed to install our kitchen counters and then have his guys come back to install the bathroom at a later date!  Walter was always available, extremely responsive and very accommodating. <br /> If I had one small gripe, it was that his guys were a bit late getting to the job both times, but they called each time and they stayed until about 8pm one night and 5 another night just so they could get the job done.  One of the installers actually came back in his own car to finish since he did not want to leave the job unfinished.  These guys pride themselves in the work they do and I would <strong>highly </strong>recommend them if you are in the market for new countertops.   <br /> Go visit them and talk to Walter.  You will not be disappointed in the quality and ability to deliver <strong>on time</strong>. <br />"

"From the first sales appointment through the installation, they were courteous, professional, respectful, and all-around awesome. The installation went quicker than planned and they left my home just as it was before they arrived. The countertops are beautiful and functional and you would never know that it was an overlay and not solid. They also tore out our old sink and installed a new one beautifully. Aside from being a small tad on the pricey side I would say that the experience could not have been better. But honestly, it was worth it for the expedience, outstanding product (beautiful and eco-friendly recycled glass), and gorgeous new look to our kitchen. I would absolutely recommend Granite Transformations. <br /> <br /> Update: We noticed an issue a little while ago with our countertops warping. Our peninsula in particular was bowing and separating from the cabinets beneath. I called Granite Transformations and they diagnosed the problem (which I feel should have been noted before installation occurred). For whatever reason there was a missing support board under the countertop in the middle, so the weight of the new countertop was causing it to bow. Even though I was irritated that this hadn't been identified before the installation, Granite Transformations was eager to fix it for no cost and in a timely manner. We remain highly satisfied with Granite Transformations."

"THE MEASUREMENT AND INSTALLATION OF MY GRANITE COUNTERTOPS WAS DONE AS SPECIFIED. THE STAFF WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND RESPONSIVE. THE COUNTERTOPS WERE DONE CORRECTLY AND INSTALLED ON TIME. MR. MODLICH HELPED ME CHOOSE THE STONE AND HELD IT TILL THE WORK WAS DONE. I WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK. I FOUND THIS COMPANY TO BE MOST HELPFUL IN UNDERSTANDING GRANITE, INSTALLATION AND PURCHASE PROCESS. MARK WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND HELPFUL. THE PRICING WAS BETTER THAN OTHER SUPPLIERS I LOOKED AT. "Soapstone is not very common, and few companies work with it. When we initially contacted Perotta, none of the local stone suppliers they recommended had any slabs in stock. However, they worked with us very hard to find a source with slabs that we liked, and gave us a very reasonable price of around $75/sq. ft. <br /> <br /> The installers were very polite and came on time the day they were scheduled. They asked permission before driving through my yard, and took care not to leave ruts. They said they had not done many soapstone installations, but the install was quick and very high quality. They even aligned the veins in the stone along the seams between pieces. <br /> <br /> There were some unexpected marks on the stone, because it is softer than granite, but they quickly polished those away and ended up with a very quality finish. The installers were easy to talk to and very willing to work with our specifications on sink hole placement and other minor details. <br /> <br /> There was one fault in the installation that was not noticed until after the installers had left. When sliding the counter into place, they had caused a crack in the plastic on the other side of the wall. When I called to report this, it took them a while to call me back, but once I spoke with the owner he was very willing to make right and subtracted the cost of repairs from my bill. <br /> <br /> They left the kitchen clean when they finished, although they did leave a bit of a mess on my back porch from dust from some additional cutting they had to do on the stone. They also rearranged some items on our back porch which had been organized, which caused a bit of annoyance. <br /> <br /> Overall, the install look gorgeous and our one real complaint they took care of without a fuss. Would use again."
