"JD was a wonderful find. He is friendly, flexible, and
focused. I had retired from teaching in Brooklyn, NY to share a house with my
mother, and there were times when we needed skilled hands to help us with some
of the refurbishing tasks. He did all kinds of jobs for us, including painting (bathrooms
and porch furniture), hanging wall art and a stained glass window, replacing
doors, assembling a new bed with heavy head and footboards, replacing rotted
wood on exterior window frames, assembling other furniture pieces, and too many
other small tasks to mention.  He made my
transition much easier, and I will continue to contact him for any other needs
that we might have. He is a very competent handyman.

"I wouldn't have believed how easy it would be to get a new roof until Chris showed me how. He really earns his business. Everything went very well.
Chris demonstrated creativity and ingenuity in helping my wife and me choose the best possible roof at the best possible price. He was thorough in explaining the pros and cons of each choice, and in the end he guided us toward what I think was the best choice for us, a metal roof. I thought this type of roof would be a whole lot more expensive than a regular shingle roof, but the difference wasn't too bad.

It did take a little longer than I had hoped to begin the work, but this was largely due to an extremely wet and rainy July. Otherwise, everything was extremely timely and professional. One more thing: Chris Davis is an honest man. I would rehire him in a heartbeat, and I recommend him to all.

"Service was excellent. Work was done in a timely manner. Took 5 days for this big job and they always cleaned up after themselves everyday. Crew was very knowledgeable and professional. Went out of their way to be sure I was satisfied with their work. My home is now safe and properly supported. They worked with me on financing and budgeting and I will be hiring them again to do the 2nd portion of my foundation repair (replacing an outer band and increasing straightness of floors) once I pay this off or at least down some. "It went surprisingly quickly. Once we talked about design and settled on budget and price he, was working. The picture I found on my phone was after the first day of work. He and his crew completed my deck and built a roof on it in about four days, not terrible by itself but throw in that it was raining almost every day and... Let's just say I'm impressed. He got it done when he said he would and for the price quoted.. I would not hesitate to rehire him or refer him to anyone."

"The installation team(owner and one employee) knew one another and has installed the same windows over and over again so everything was installed perfectly. They placed drop clothes in the areas they worked on and cleaned up with a shop vac and nothing was damaged. Meadow Exteriors is a small company but in my opinion their aim is to be the best not the biggest company. I am very pleased with their results. I paid half down when I signed the contract ($7500) and it took about a month before my windows were ready. I highly recommend this company.

"Service guy came as scheduled. Sent his "service" requirements to home base Home base calls back and lists, a very long list of what needs to be done and a very long list of what is not covered and what each item costs. The overall cost was outrageous and they weren't willing to give it to me in writing. Everything I had to pay for was overpriced, of course! They told me my other option would be to purchase my own water heater and they would reimburse me for what there water heater would cost, but no reimbursement for Labor, building permit, or any upgrades required by the local building department. The requirements of the building department were minimal. I went to Home Depot and had them do the installation and saved many hundreds of dollars. Lesson learned, have AHS do simpler repairs that don't require municipal building department approval. Have AHS pay for the equipment, and purchase installation from a trusted local installer."
