Joel has always super responsive (so many never even call back once!), and was excellent at following up when *I* wasn't super responsive. When I had questions they were always answered quickly and clearly. As far as the actual work, I'm not sure that I'm able to judge one roofing job to another, but I can say there isn't anything else that I would ask for! Joel and his team identified problem areas and replaced wood as required to remedy any rot that had developed over the last 30 years. The new roof looks great! Northern Counties Roofing Systems might not have the most glitzy marketing materials compared to some of the other contractors in town, but the price, responsiveness, and finished product all speak for themselves. I also learned why they were putting in the type of roof vent they used, and why my old roof vent didn't work. Also, I had new gutters installed, and likewise, I could see the difference in how they were not properly installed before....now I have gutters and downspouts that will work! My roof cost was $8400; the cost of replacing A LOT of dry rot was $$2650. I'm VERY happy with my roof!"
