"This is an old garage on a slab of concrete but with one corner of the slab cut away where previous owners had a sauna. They had divided the building in half, an office in one part, a workshop in the other. On one side of the building an unused door had been left in place, and siding along the bottom of the wall was rotting.  I asked Eric and Mickey of A+ Handyman to take the door out, replace the entire wall, which had rot along the bottom, and close up the space on the inside with drywall. Additionally, they cleaned up some rot around another door frame, replaced a boards on other walls along the ground and patched a couple of other places where there was damage or rot. We made an appointment for them to come and give me an estimate--they arrived promptly, gave me the estimate in a few days, and completed the work as planned, adjusting the estimate downward slightly to match the work done. <br>Nice people who do good work for a reasonable price. <br> <br> <br>"

He did a quick check of the septic tank inlet and outlet pipes to make sure there were no possible concerns, once done he went right to pumping. "This service was arranged by Lowes initially. Because we were hoping to increase the size of our tank and add a circulating pump, Pleasant Valley arranged a site detail visit. As it turned out, our space would not allow a tank change and they were not familiar with the pump, although Lowes had told us they had been able to show them the pump on a store visit. I'm assuming Lowe's showed it to one of the other rotating contractors by mistake. Initially, their initial call back time was slow, but in all fairness, Lowe's was in charge of getting the details to the company and we were making modifications which we weren't informed would slow the process down. Once they did their site visit and discussed with us, in detail, what was possible and what our needs were, they were very quick to get the job done and everything went very smoothly. We're very happy with their work and wouldn't hesitate to call them again in the future, although we'll call directly rather than going through Lowe's. <br />"

Just disappointed that the inspection and work which was done within an month prior, did not capture the problem. It ended up being so expensive for that visit."
