After our decision, he gave us a realistic timeline for ordering and set up installation. "We had Argo Glass & Windows replace sixteen glass panes, many of them large, in our home on January 13 & 14, 2020. Their pricing was fair and the quality of work excellent. Their crew was fast and courteous, completing the entire project in under two days. I thought I would have to repaint the outer frames in spring following the glass replacement, but the manner in which they performed the work kept the existing paint intact. It was January in Wisconsin and they removed the old glass panes and installed the new ones with a very minimum of cold air entering the house. My wife and I were home during the entire process and never felt cold. We will be having them return in spring to repair some rotted wood in a number of window frames and replace some broken window hardware. We will definitely continue to use them for any future window needs and highly recommend them to anyone needing similar work."

"I had new windows installed and the installers removed my old blinds. I needed blinds immediately and called numerous contractors. Morris Designer Blinds was the only company that could complete the job in what I felt was a reasonable timeframe. They not only did a great job, the cost was very reasonable. I would adamantly recommend them for any custom blind job."

"We’ve worked with JJB Home Improvements (Jeff) on a number of projects at our home since 2006; totaling more than $20K of work. They were always prompt, and we were always satisfied with their work. I contracted again with JJBHI (Joe) last summer of 2019 to remove & replace 2 insert windows with screens, and the replacement of some beveled cedar siding. Without our knowledge, JJBHI substituted a different vendor for our windows, and they did not provide screens like we had asked for and paid for. I ended up having to locate the supplier, and purchased the screens myself this past July/2020. The majority of the siding work was done in the dark with “flood lights”, and a very small section of the siding was overlooked (see image below, 2 courses above top of left window). I made numerous attempts via emails and phone calls this past Dec./2019 with JJBHI regarding the above, with no response to date. I also made two written requests via USPS, asking JJBHI to reimburse us for the screens, but have not received a response from Jeff or Joe. I would classify this as JJBHI being “penny wise and dollar foolish”; especially since I have more work to do, the screens X2 were only $80 – COST, and “word of mouth can be your best and worst form of advertising”. Sadly, and mistakenly: 1) I gave JJBHI a 60% down payment, waited more than 3 months for them to show up, and 2) I didn’t retain 3% - 5% of my final payment because I had worked with JJBHI (JEFF) in the past, I didn’t think it was necessary, and I trusted them – BIG MISTAKE."

"I was given access to a website where I could upload picture of the room I am decorating and pictures of furniture I planned to use. I could also upload photos of things that inspire me to show the styles and colors I like or dislike. They also use your Pinterest and Houzz.com 'likes' to get ideas. A completed package of ideas for everything from area rugs and furniture to accessories are then posted into your profile on their website. It's a one time posting. If you want additional help or want to make changes, an upgrade to the $99 package is required.
The decorator I worked with was friendly and professional. This is a great idea in concept, but I think it would be better to have someone come to the house. I have not used any of the suggestions in my package, but it was worth $25 to try it out.

"I had no complaints after the initial installation.  They were fast, professional and left our rooms and yard the same as when they got here.
I'd like to explain why I am posting this review now.  It is now 11
years later since we had the windows installed and on the outside of the
house, the windows look the same as when they were first put in. We
haven't had to perform any maintenance at all.  The caulking is even
still intact and looks new.  I had honestly expected to have to replace the windows in 10 years because of the pricing..  Down the road, I was investigating replacing a larger window and came upon a ton of negativity about Wellington and I never gave them a  second look.  I thought that we just got lucky not having any of the problems I had read about.  So, now, fast forward to today.
I contacted Wellington today, March
21, 2013 to inquire about getting a new weather strip (the fuzzy strip
at the top of the lower sash) that had come loose and to recommend an adhesive to reglue the plastic lift on a different window that had separated..  I provided the job number of the
contract and told them I assumed it wasn't covered under warranty, but
the lovely lady on the other end informed me that they will have someone
come out for the $85 trip charge and assess ALL of the windows and make any
repairs/part replacements under warranty.  I'm thinking that $85 for someone
to come out and go over all of my windows and repair or replace
anything is a deal, especially considering we've had these windows for
11 years.
In my opinion, the money we spent on Wellington Windows was by far the best VALUE than we could have gotten with any competitor even to this day.  The money we spent in 2002 was the total dollars invested for 11 years of trouble free and worry free performance and the windows still look great.  They provided and installed good looking and good performing windows at a price we could afford and they are honoring their lifetime warranty.  There isn't much else a person can ask for.  Our lifetime warranty covers 100% parts/labor  for another 9 years, so the next owner of this home will get the same protection.  I think that's great!
