My project was complicated by the fact that a ceiling needed to be removed, plumbing fixed and then the ceiling replaced. The team was very flexible in working around my plumber. Additionally, our home is older and has a textured ceiling throughout, which we wanted to maintain. VA Dream had no issues matching the repair to the rest of the house. "I am impressed by the quality of work performed at my house. We bought a house in 2020 at Westlake in Crozeet. We wanted shower doors in our bathrooms and no curtains. Dobson Glass installed a shower door in our basement's bathroom, where the tub is rectangular. But in our guest's room's bathroom, interestingly, the edge of the tub is curved, therefore a round shower door was the only option. Those round doors are available at Home Depot. BUT, NO ENTITY IN THE EXTENDED CHARLOTTESVILLE AREA was interested in the project of installing such a door. In all my online searches, MR. POLLARD IS THE ONLY ONE, who called me, and who was willing to tackled the job. And he, and his team, did a fantastic job. They also repaired a heavy wood mantle over our fire place, which was falling. They fixed it without breaking the marble around it and without any visual marks as to where they put the nails. They performed other repairs around the house to our complete satisfaction. The men were diligent, hard working, polite and professional. We are planning future projects. I would hired Mr. Pollard and his team any time. I highly remommend him."

"Scott and Steph were great! They replaced our old water heater within 24 hours of us requesting their service. They disposed of the old one, and waited to make sure the water heated before leaving. "The contractor, Lonestar Siding & Windows, was located by me on my first use of Angie's List in May.  My wife had wrecked her car pulling out of the garage, and damaged the aluminum trim around the garage door.  Lonestar e-mailed me within 24 hours of my inquiry, and they were onsite to give me an estimate in short order.  The estimate was so reasonable, and the company staff were so friendly and accomodating, that I approved the quote right away.  Knowing this was such a small job, I expected the company would forget about me while completing their much larger jobs.  I was definately wrong.  They called me yesterday, 6/17/15 and said they would be out that afternoon to remove and install the new trim.  When I got home, I couldn't believe my eyes.  The new installation was incredible...professionally done and absolutely perfect in every way.  I phoned the company receptionist right away and told her how pleased we were with their work.  I also advised her I would recommend their company to all my friends and neighbors.  All I can say is that this was the perfect contractor for the job, and if it weren't for Angie's List, I wouldn't have heard or known about Lonestar Siding & Windows.  Thank you Lonestar for everything!!  My garage again looks brand new! <br /> Joe Sands <br /> Manakin Sabot, VA <br />"

"I met with Mike Gundersen from Professional Home Services about a month ago. He came to my door wearing a mask and gave me a blue folder with business information. The estimate only took 20 minutes as he promised. He didn’t try to enter my house or pressure me. He gave me a price for my roof and my back sliding glass door. I got a few more estimates but decided that I was most comfortable with Mike. The roof looks amazing and I am happy I can open my back door!
