"Badlands arrived when expected and over several days completed my fence job and handled my changes. They were at all times professional, trustworthy and all around a pleasure to work with. I would hire them again and I highly recommend there work"

"It went very well. The fence supplies, workers, etc. arrived early on the first day. Installation started. The workers stayed busy the whole time. They were very courteous if asked questions, etc. Once the fence was finished. Any extra materials and supplies were carried off. They left the yard very clean. The new fence looked great. Have totally enjoyed having it."

"The crew dealt with rainy weather pretty much the entire time and still installed a quality fence that I’m proud of."

"Company was responsive to my phone calls.   Gave me a detailed written estimate.  I had already been to their website and had learned quite a bit about fencing.  I had received a total of five quotes and this company was the only one to point out that a permit was needed in my city.  Other contractors, when asked about permits, had lied and said they weren't necessary.  That was a black mark against them.

The crew came out as scheduled on a Thursday morning and demolished the existing fence and dug post holes for the new fence.  They installed a temporary plastic fence and left.   A truck delivered materials around 11 am and the crew came back that afternoon and set the posts in cement.  They were back at 7:30 on Friday and began to assemble the fence.  It was made of Western Red Cedar with cedar rails.  It was finished with a cedar top cap and a pressure treated rotboard along the bottom.

After a week, I noticed that one of the boards had split vertically, and they came out and replaced the board. The fence looks good and passed it's permit inspection!

"My husband and I had discussed getting a new fence installed since we purchased our home back in 2012. Finally the time came where we were ready to commit and get it done. Clayton had come out to the house a couple times for an estimate over the years and was always pleasant and patient. February this year he and his team came out and to say we are graciously impressed is an understatement. From the quality of their work, to their professionalism, I just can’t speak highly enough of the team. We have quite a large yard but they still tried to tackle it in two days and were on pace to do so but then there was a minor setback (at no fault of theirs) so they came back on a Saturday morning, in 32 degree weather mind you, to finish the job. The job site was always clean, old fence and any debris/trash was placed neatly in one area for easy access to haul away once the job was complete. They did an amazing job and we are SO HAPPPY we chose to go with them because our fence is absolutely beautiful and everything we wanted. If you’re in the market for any type of fence or deck work, we highly recommend Excalibur Fence and Decks. Clayton is an honest business man with integrity, beautiful craftsmanship and the perfect team to get the job done."

"I would like to commend Jay and his installation crew for spectacular work on a recent job of removing an old fence and installing a new eight- foot Western Cedar fence. This is the second time we have had Housewright Fence perform work on our property. Each time Jay has been helpful in helping to determine specifically what the options are and helping decide the appropriate fence to install. On both jobs, Jay has set a work plan and schedule to which his crew has met. The crew did an outstanding job in installing the fence and in taking great care with property and landscaping to ensure no harm was done while removing and installing the fence. On both occasions, we have been completely satisfied with the quality work performed and the professionalism of which Jay and his crew have worked with us. We would highly recommend having Housewright fence perform any fencing work being considered. Thanks Jay and to your crew!"

"He did a basic repair on the fence. The fence had about 5 areas that needed repair and he only repaired one area. I thought the deal meant that he would take care of all of the repairs. The repairs needed were very basic. I was put off by the fact that they repeatedly tried to sell me a new fence."
