I asked many questions, and I could tell he had done many quality fences before because he was able to put me at ease with all my concerns. He had solutions for every situation I brought up. I could tell he would be a good problem solver should problems come up. I like to know how a company handles problem issues because that tells me whether or not I should do business with them. When I brought up a concern like contouring the ground so my dogs could not get out, he put me at ease that it would be done, and he said there are options to cover spaces between the bottom of the fence and the ground should the contour of my fence area be a problem due to my property contour. I asked about the double gate to make sure there would not be space where the gates come together. Again he assured me it would be tight. We discussed the quality of the powder coated panels and how the last thing they do is touch up any imperfections that may have occurred. I had many other questions answered , and it removed the "worry" from the situation. After talking with him and hearing how he does business and how he installs fences, I knew this was the right company for me. The installation went great. Once my job was near the front of the line, they called me periodically to keep me informed about the scheduling of my job so I would know what to expect. The installation team was very skilled at their jobs. From the setting of the posts to the final panel weld, they were professional, courteous, and super workers! They respected my property and left it clean like they found it. I will recommend Blacksmith Fence Company to my friends and family."

"Travis did a great job. My garage door was struggling when closing and opening due to a broken spring which Chris immediately saw. He quoted replacing both springs and replacing the entire door with new springs and rails. Since the door was in bad shape as well, I opted to have everything replaced. He was able to get the door and complete the work the next day. I didn't even need to be at home. I was able to watch from my Ring spotlight camera and saw they showed up on time, were fast and neat workers. My neighbor confirmed the same based on what she saw. It's been a month and my garage door was working great!. I didn't comparison shop, but for the ease of working with Chris to get my issue resolved and his ability to get the work done unsupervised was worth it."

"These guys are nice, courteous. They fix the problem. Prices are fine.  However, only if you can get ahold of someone. I've left messages over and over for this company because my gate has broken down three times in the past 6 months and no one responds. When I do get someone, they will say things like "I can come on Wednesday" and refuse to give you a time window. When they call me on Wednesday and i'm out *running the one vital quick errand i need to run that day and I can be home in 15 minutes!* they said they'd reschedule me for over a week later.  Maybe they treat me this way because I'm a woman? I dont know. It's happened more than once. But I'm a full time physician and I have two small kids. Sorry my schedule isn't wiiiiiiide open for ya. Lost my business. <br /> <br /> Edit: I got a call from the company saying they attempted to call me many times but had a wrong number. I'm not sure if this is the case because i've only given them one number. Maybe there was some communication error.  I appreciate them following up and improved my score."
