Last year we thought replacing the kitchen countertops and painting the walls would make our kitchen look more modern. After the work was completed, we realized that we should have replaced the kitchen cabinets as well. We had several contractors look at the cabinets and give us their opinion. We determined that DJ Custom Cabinets was the right team for the job. It was absolutely the right decision! Don has been in this line of business for over 45 years and felt 99% confident that he could put in new kitchen cabinets without removing the new countertops. He built a complex set of braces to hold up the countertops and was successful at removing the lower cabinets without any damage to the new countertops. He then slid the new lower cabinets under the braced countertops with no damage to the countertops. He replaced all the other cabinets as well. It was amazing to watch him do this. The cabinets are beautiful. His work is absolutely the best. Don and his team are great with communication and very respectful. We never had a call that wasn’t answered or returned quickly. He kept us informed throughout the process. The process was explained thoroughly. Timeline for work completion was right on. We highly recommend DJ Custom Cabinets for any custom cabinet work. "A step n'shower was installed in one 12 hour day. Installers were professional, worked to remove tub and then install an excellent step-in shower. Safety features were a special issue for me at age 82. When a question arose then following day, the installers returned that very day and checked on their work. The slight problem was not due to their installment and they advised me as to the next step. I am thoroughly satisfied."

"The general contractor was very professional. There are always a lot of choices that come up along the way with a remodel--some can be anticipated and some cannot. He was very good about asking for our input along the way so that we weren't surprised. There were a few hiccups (there always are). Carlos was willing to fix problems (finish work on cabinet, drainage of shower floor). The only unresolved issue is a cracked window--the installation of a quartz shelf in the shower area led to a small crack in an exterior window. It was suggested that the glass could easily be replaced by a glass company, but the recommended company wasn't willing to do the work. The crack is a cosmetic issue. To completely replace the window and frame would be very expensive. The crew was also very professional. They did a good job of minimizing the mess and did a good job cleaning up. I hope that I can resolve the window issue, but I'd definitely hire them again."

"A contractor I’ve been doing business with contacted Lonnie early Tuesday morning to perform plumbing services related to a broken water pipe. While at the house he: made a thorough inspection of all areas showing damage, and replaced a length of copper pipe with (far superior) pex pipe. The copper pipe had burst during the freeze of January 2024. He was diligent and careful to remove only those portions of drywall and other materials to evaluate the extent of water damage. Along the way, he made (plumbing-related) suggestions that would ultimately be money-saving. For example, he suggested getting a tankless water heater and tomorrow, he will install an icemaker connection box for our refrigerator. Lonnie is very professional, knowledgeable and personable. He provides excellent plumbing services and he places them far above profit. I highly recommend him."
