"Installation was solid. The labor price was a bit high. The main concern was the materials markup. The picked up a shower stem from Lowes. Those are normally about $50. The tech said that the stem wasn't $120 but they charge them extra when they use their contractor code. That seemed weird since normally get discounts since they purchase a lot. I should have questioned it but it didn't register to me until after he had left."

He arrived with his son and another helper. All of them were so pleasant, courteous and good natured. The icemaker and water dispenser were hardly producing at all and I'd already had an appliance repair person look at the refrigerator. "Erickson plumbing took our "partially" roughed in bathroom space in our basement and completed the plumbing for the new bathroom. They also laid a new shower pan and drain for the new shower. They did a fantastic job -- working quickly and completed the job thoroughly. When the previously roughed in pipes (not by Erickson) started to leak when we first turned the water on to the bathroom, Ken came out right away and fixed the problem for no charge (it was not even his piping that was leaking). He also came back after we had installed the toilet and vanity/sink and checked our plumbing connections for no extra charge. Also, when he came to run the shower pipes and discovered that the existing bathroom framing was not square, he called a contractor friend who was able to immediately send someone at a reasonable price to fix the framing so that he could continue working as planned.
