"We have a smaller upstairs bathroom that had not been touched since 1975. The shower had been unusable for over a decade due to leakage. The space had to be completely gutted down to the studs and completely redone. The contractor we had used several times over the years retired, so we needed someone new who we could trust. Radical Renovations (Angelo) was recommended to us by N & S Supply in Kingston and I'm SO happy we hired him! He's professional, responsive, patient and finds solutions to all issues that invariably come up when you're dealing with old homes. Plus, the crew who he brought in to work with him was also pleasant and professional. I would absolutely hire Angelo again...in fact I already am!"

"Exceptional work and totally professional. Everyone who Anton brought onto this job was a great craftsman, and each was polite, arrived early, worked the whole time diligently, and seemed to really specialize in whatever their job was. The level of work is exceptional, the attention to detail really impressive. I work from home, so I kind of had my eye on the guys throughout the job, and just watching them size and cut each piece of siding not only put me at ease, but also taught me a lot about carpentry. The dry wall on the interior is top-grade. I got fussy over paint colors, and Anton was gracious and accommodating with my changes of heart. Anton also has a deep knowledge of historic, reclaimed woods, as well as quite an inventory to pick from. He was so good with the cedar trim on the exterior that I had him frame a painting to hang in our main house in the same style and it looks great. Best of all, they came up with solutions to problems I didn't even know I had, such as how to properly frame the exterior light that I installed myself before they got here (see photos). Please note that the exterior work is not painted in the photos, as it is too cold to paint, so we'll wait until Spring."

"We ve interviewed 4 contractors but they were the team that made us feel the most comfortable to hire. They have a good energy, they are very knowledgeable and professional. We just bought a house and the house needs a lot of work and honestly we won t ever going to call nobody else. We hired them for a kitchen remodel, they promised us 3 weeks to get it done and they finished it a few days before that. Our kitchen looks unbelievably beautiful. After the kitchen was done we hired them to sand and stain our hardwood floors and they gave us a really good deal! Our floors look like brand new floors. "I would hire this company over and over again! Humberto, his son and their guys are amazing! Our bathroom and laundry room had gotten water damage due to a backed up sewer line. Humberto, his son, and their team replaced drywall, baseboards, primed and painted both rooms. They redid the laundry room floors, and the vanity in the bathroom. Everything looks amazing, and we have already discussed with them if they can redo the rest of downstairs, paint upstairs and my kitchen cabinets. "We live in a prewar coop building in Manhattan and were in need of a kitchen, living and dining room/den renovation. Because of the limitations in our building, we were not optimistic that many changes could be made that would dramatically alter the feel/function of the space. Inson Wood proved us completely wrong. With his architectural eye and his impeccable design aesthetic we (and everyone who has been here before and after) experiences our apartment as an entirely different living space. Even family members are shocked at the transformation. I think that what Inson accomplished was the product of a few significant factors. First, Inson asks you what you want and seriously considers how you live. If Inson thinks that different approaches should be considered for what you want, he provides renderings of each option so that you can easily visualize and imagine them. Ultimately, Inson respects your preferences and works with them, elevating them to a level far above what you had imagined. Inson uses the highest quality vendors (whom we NEVER would have found) and expertly guides you through choices (note: follow his recommendations!!!)- our walls would never have had dimension and our kitchen backsplash never have been so unique (two examples) if not for the artisans that Inson uses. Inson is also willing to have you be as much or as little involved in the process as you want to be. I did go with Inson to choose many pieces of furniture but realized after a certain point that his taste point made me confident in him choosing much finishing work (ex: window treatments, decorative cushions, which I love) without me. As with all design work, there are always glitches and Inson was extremely responsive and responsible for taking care of those as they came up. We are nothing less than thrilled to come home each evening and enjoy our space, which feels like a luxurious retreat perfectly tailored to us."
