"Andrei refinished my kitchen cabinets and did an excellent job. He was prompt, professional, and communicative. The cabinets turned out beautifully and I am very satisfied with his work. There were some issues with finding the correct finish, but Andrei persisted until it was complete. His craftsmanship was exceptional and his knowledge of the work was extensive. He charged a very fair price. I very much enjoyed working with Andrei and would gladly do so again. He has my highest recommendation and rating. I cannot say enough good things about Andrei and his work. Dwight."

"Master Bathroom Remodel replaced existing with Tile. Diego was very professional. Took his shoes off. Very kind, pleasant, respectful as I was a woman. Was able to give me a bid quickly. His employee was very clean, did very good work. I highly recommend!!! Other contractors who bid treated me like I was stupid."

"Mike was able to provide an estimate before sending his team to replace our water heater. Other companies wouldnâ t provide a ball park estimate and wanted a fee to come out and provide an estimate. Mikeâ s team was on time and quickly replaced the water heater. Pricing was fair and Iâ ll call Mike when we need more plumbing repairs."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
