"Our sump pump quit working so I searched on HomeAdvisor early in the morning. One of the recommendations was Attaboy Plumbing. Within an hour they had contacted me. Since we wanted to get the sump pump situation rectified, I went ahead and engaged them. A visit was scheduled for that afternoon. The technician arrived with a replacement sump pump and within about a half hour the job was complete. The technician was friendly and professional. We couldn't believe how fast the situation was resolved. We highly recommend Attaboy Plumbing."

"We called Roger Blakely after getting 3 different sewer opinions and estimates. He knew that he couldn't do the job but he offered to come out to our house, take a look, and help steer us in the right direction. He gave us great advice and even looked at a few other plumbing issues we were having for free. We will definitely hire him when it comes time to make a plumbing repair!
"

"Quality has been fine, but punctuality has always been a problem. Most of the plumbers they sent were professional, but two were kind of smart-alecky.
My most recent encounter with Sheets was to repair a leaky toilet. When I called, I said I would also like to consider preemptive repairs to the other three toilets in the house and asked if someone could give me an idea of how much it would cost. We scheduled a service day and the woman on the phone said she would give a message to the plumbers and have someone call me back. No one called.
At 11:30 on the service day, no one had shown up, so I called Sheets to make sure we were still on the schedule. I was assured that we were.
After spending the afternoon waiting for them, I called again at 4:45 and was told that they couldn't make it that day because several jobs ran long and they were short-handed this week. I asked if they could have someone here between 1 and 5 tomorrow and was told they "couldn't promise that."
Some observations:
- First if they were short-handed this week and might not be able to be here on the scheduled day, why didn't they tell me? I would have been happy to schedule next week. It's a leaky toilet, not a flooded basement!
- Second, if they looked at the jobs they had on the schedule for the day and considered what still had to be done, I think they could have told me when I called at 11:30 that they wouldn't be able to make it today. But, apparently they don't care if a customer sits around the house all afternoon waiting for someone who isn't going to show up. The only excuse is that they don't do any job scheduling at all. I guess when a plumber gets done with one job, they just randomly pick another job on the list for the day.
- Third, there was sometime in the afternoon, probably 3 or 4 hours before my last call, when they knew they weren't going to
be here today. They should have called me as soon as they knew. But, they prefer to have a customer waste hours rather than take the few minutes required for a phone call.
- Finally, I asked for service in a 4 hour window the next day and they couldn't even be bothered to do that. It seems to me that, if they were customer-focused at all, they would make certain to prioritize a missed customer the next day. The only thing I got from them is that they would put me on the schedule for the next day. They refused to guarantee that anyone would show up leaving open the possibility that I would spend another day staying at home and still not get a service call. Even Comcast does better than this.
"

"The task included a leaky pipe, a kitchen faucet that wouldn't dispense hot water and a garbage disposer that wouldn't work. The service person tried several approaches to see if he could restore service to the disposer before pronouncing it dead. He replaced the disposer at a very fair and reasonable price. He fixed the leak in the water supply and then spent considerable time troubleshooting and finding the blockage in the water line to the faucet. Restoring functionality in the faucet saved $150 or more. He also supplied helpful advice on how to avoid problems in the future to minimized problems. He also unplugged a drain in a half bath and tried to fix a toilet, but advised replacing it as a better alternative. It is functional now, but its continued use is ill advised. He was very helpful, polite and focused on providing good service which was appreciated. I will call them again.
"

"I would rate this business higher if I could! Terry is very knowledgeable when it comes to repairs. He was very professional. Feeling comfortable with who you hire is super important me. He was very upfront and honest about the repair I needed done, walked me through what was needed, and showed me so I understood, instead of just telling me. I really appreciated that. It was very reassuring. I will definitely be calling him again for future repairs. Highly recommend!!! A+++++"
