I think the installers, also, should have given more consideration as to where it should go, and told me the advantages and disadvantages of a certain placement. A second concern is that the EPA recommends that the cracks in the basement floor be sealed AFTER the installation since the vacuum will suck good air thru the basement cracks. No mention of this recommendation was made. If Radon Detection and Control doesn't want to do this, that's fine, but at least advise me that it should be done."

Except for the soft whirring sound you would never know the system was there. It blends in so well on the outside that it just looks like another drain spout. I couldn't be more pleased.
