"Hope Plumbing came out on Wednesday for a toilet repair. We believed the toilet to be leaking from the tank bolts, so Domenic replaced the tank bolts and also (3) valves within the bathroom, installed a Delta faucet and installed a new flapper in our other bathroom toilet. After testing the repair repeatedly, Domenic left for the day. We discovered yet another leak right after he left our house, and we contacted Hope Plumbing who put us in contact with Domenic. He was not very far down the road and was gracious enough to turn around and help with this new problem. Upon inspection of the toilet, we decided it could not be fixed (a small crack in the front of the bowl) , so he arranged to have a new toilet installed the next day. He came back the next morning with a new toilet, took the old toilet away, and the installation went very smooth and quick. We will hire Hope Plumbing for our future repairs!"

"Purchased a Springwell salt-free water conditioner that needed to be installed. The technician was very professional and courteous and quality of work seems top notch. My only issue with Plumbing Heating Paramedics is the value for what I paid. For roughly $150 worth of parts and 1.5 hrs of actual installation work the bill for the job was $589. In fairness, this amount was quoted to me on the initial Work Order email but I overlooked it as it's written in vary small font at the bottom. That was my mistake. The reason I feel a little duped is that the technician verbally quoted me $350-400 for a duel-tank system and mentioned it would be less if fewer components were installed. I bought a single tank system so had at most $350 in mind. But again, not seeing the official quoted price was my error. I did contact the office to ask if they could send me an itemized receipt for the job. The call taker said that this was not possible because the job is quoted as a whole and not split into labor and parts. This is odd to me because I think you would need to consider the costs of supplies and labor when building a quote. I don't think they use a random number generator. So that interaction left me feeling like the price really couldn't be justified... Again, the quality of work seems great - I don't want to turn anyone away from Plumbing Heating Paramedics. But in hindsight, I would likely have chosen one of the other providers that quoted in the $300-400 range had I been aware of the $589 tag for this job. I'd consider them again in the future if the price was right."

"We met Chris and Caleb with an inch of water on the floor and a lot of frustration. They first got the 1yr old sump running again to drain the water down. Then the diagnosed the issue with the failed pump and replaced it quickly for approx $500. We discussed the backup system at the time but I honestly couldn't impulse that much and I wanted to review options. Waited 5 weeks and reviewed other options only to came back to the professional solution offered. Also realized the quote (under $2K) was actually very reasonable for the dual battery complete backup we had installed .. more of an investment than a bandage."

"It could not have gone any better from start to finish. We started with Paula who gave us our quote and she took it from there, recommending other vendors for the additional work needed which was plumbing and tile work. Those companies did excellent work as well. We would not hesitate to recommend Just For Granite at any time. Our kitchen looks wonderful and we could not be any happier."

"Promptness was my major complaint. Pennington would say he would make it by the weekend, for example, to pick up the tub, and never show or call. It took many calls and reminders before connections were made. This went on multiple times throughout the course of the project. On the plus side, he had a cell, and would almost always pick up when I called, so at least I could touch base. After he took the tub, he said he should have it back in about two weeks. It was probably closer to two months. But apart from that, his price was lower than anyone else's I called. And from what I can tell, he did a good job. The tub looks good -- especially considering what he started with. He had to take off a layer of paint that someone had put on the inside of the tub, and the outer surface was unfinished and rough. Although if I had it to do over again I might ask how much extra to put enamel on the outside surface as well, instead of the dull white coating that was put on. Pennington made no complaints or extra charges for taking the tub up the steps, which was a challenge. And the capper -- once they brought the tub back, his son and helper insisted on putting on the new hardware I had to hook up to the drain for no charge. Even when I couldn't find all the pieces, they went to their truck and used their own hardware to finish the job."

"Ed and his crew came out to figure out where my problem was with my sewer line. They had to dig up the sewer line to find out why it was backing up. Once they were able to see the pipe we discovered that one of the utility lines had drilled their cable line through my sewer line causing me the problem. Ed called out the correct officials to determine who was responsible so that I would be able to file a claim for his services. We determined that it was in fact connected to ATand T. I'm still waiting to hear from someone at ATand T in the claims department. However, Ed and his crew did a GREAT job in a desperate time of need. They cut out the bad part of the pipe and replaced it with new. It's running like a champ! Ed also did a great job of taking pictures for me to have to be able to show ATand T if tey had any questions.

"I filed a home warranty claim with HMS and Ameri-Plumb was the assigned contractor. I left a message for Jon, the owner, on a Sunday evening because, although it wasn't exactly an emergency situation, we wanted the leaky garbage disposal to be fixed as soon as possible. I followed up the next morning with an email to Jon and then around mid-day called him again. This time I spoke with him directly and he indicated that he had already called me back, which he hadn't. He said he would be out the next morning at 7. Immediately after our call I texted him a confirmation of our appointment time and my address. The next morning. he did not arrive on time but contacted me to say he would be 30-40 minutes late. He was more than an hour late. When I answered the door he said hello, but really nothing else. I showed him the leaking garbage disposal and he mumbled something about it probably needing to be replaced. He basically did not speak to either myself or my husband the entire time he was at our house. He did get right to work and quickly switched out the old garbage disposal for a new one. When he appeared to be done with his work, my husband paid him our home warranty deductible. He made some mention of how he had created quite a mess, which was obvious, but he made absolutely no effort to clean up the large mess all over my kitchen floor and under my sink. He had been using one of my buckets, which had been sitting under the sink to collect water, and he left it full of dirt and grime under the sink. So far there have been no problems with his work (only time will tell), but based responsiveness and lack of professionalism I would not recommend Ameri-Plumb."

"The job was clean, timely, and efficient.  I was glad to find a local small business to send the work to.  I would recommend them again for sure.  My only regret is that we waited 5 years to call them!  I can't believe how much difference having a water softner makes!  
I also have to say that I had had several estimates done the year before and their cost was right in the middle or on less expensive end of all the estimates - not so cheap that you wondered about the quality of the work that would be done or the quality of the softner that would be installed, but not so expensive that you thought you were getting taken advantage of.  The price was exactly right where I was hoping it would be.
