"Plumber snaked the toilet and fixed the sensor on the urinal. Quoted $950. Then he said the valve needed to be replaced on the urinal and toilet due to debris in the piping. Bill jumped to $1900. He said he was on his way to pick up the valve for the toilet and would come down and install it. This was around 11:00 am. I waited till 4:00 pm with no call, no show. The next day I waited till 1:00 pm, then decided to call him. He said it needs a filter installed to catch the debris and would be quite expensive. At that point I asked what the bill was for the work he had already done. He still tried to charge me the $1900. After complaining about him not showing up the day before after telling me he was on his way, and tacking on one issue after another I paid the $975 and terminated any further work."

"The leach lines for our septic system started to fail, so we contacted several companies for options. There were few choices that would perform conversions to sewer; the other company that came out never even provided an estimate. Mike from Gopher gave us a lot of helpful information - bottom line was that our local government won’t issue permits for septic work if you have access to sewer, which we did, so we bit the bullet to convert. Gopher did everything as planned, and finished early due to a cancellation in their schedule. Everyone in the crew was polite and communicated as needed. Mike was in touch frequently and we always knew what was happening. They cleaned up after themselves nicely. Overall we’re very pleased despite a surprise very expensive project."

"I'm a property manager who is always looking for good service people and I highly recommend Flood Brothers. My first problem at a property was finding a plumber who would be able to replace a tankless heater as not all of them do. These guys did so and were prompt and professional and very easy to deal with and they also gave the lowest estimate! They also let me know that the previous unit was something that should never have been installed because it was a dated unit from a manufacturer that is no longer is in business. I was in a jam at another property some weeks later out in Venice -- some plumbers will not service Venice because it's too far away, but it was Flood Brothers to the rescue. They managed to come out the same afternoon to diagnose and fix a leak just as my guests were arriving for their stay. It was a simple fix (for a plumber, not a layman) and they let me know and charged a fair price. Giulio and Brendan are pros and really nice and went out of their way to turn my headache into a solution. I will be calling them again."

"The reason we had to deal with Daniel Cordova Plumbing is that they did an expensive project before and after that project the toilet was not properly working. They claimed it was a bad pump so we agreed to change it. 1. I asked to itemize the project, they never did that though the price for a one day job was $6505. 2. We ordered the pump they listed in the invoice but we had to return it paying $250 return fee because they claimed they already bought a pump and according to them there was no way to return it. 3. They refused to provide a receipt for the pump they bought. I was insisting on it since it is my right to know what pump was installed in my property and have pictures of installation as well. CSLB confirmed I am entitled to it. Instead they gave me NOT a receipt, but a very strange invoice with an absolutely different pump name on it and a date of purchase earlier than our invoice. The name which was never mentioned in the invoice. Was it a direct or indirect deception is up to you to judge, but it was not a receipt 100% and I still have no idea what pump was installed in my property. 4. Nick Giles threatened to take the pump away and leave us in a completely dysfunctional house only because I requested documentation I am entitled to. CSLB says I have plenty of ground to file a complaint. 5. I shared my experience with Daniel Cordova Plumbing. It is up to you to hire them or not. I would stay away from this company."
