"The grout did look better than before but I think it could have been better if the service technician had spent the time on it that he originally estimated. He left several hours earlier than he had estimated. In fairness, I think the amount charged should have been adjusted to reflect the actual time spent. Otherwise, I did appreciate working with this company and would recommend them on the basis of their customer service alone. The installer was very pleasing to work with and was on time and professional."

He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed. "It took more time than Peter had quoted to repair my marble table tops. He did have a medical explanation which we accepted. He then doubled the telephone quote when informing us of the delay in repair. I reminded him of his original quote, which he honored. He delivered the marble tops repaired and was very kind. We can see where the broken areas were glued. The tops were not totally finished to blend them in. The edge (a couple of sm pieces) of one marble top broke on delivery. Peter said he would return to glue the sm pieces back on and smooth out the edge. He never contacted us to follow up. Overall the job was okay but not excellent."

"I am quite happy with the electrical outlet and the bathroom fan, and I would hire him back for electrical work, as I think that is his specialty. His carpentry skills aren't the greatest, but they are not bad either. The first thing I asked was for the medicine cabinet to be centered over the sink, and it is about 1 inch off. At least it is hung level, though! The other disappointment was that he reused my 28-year old hinges and door knob on the new door. Also that the door frame was not cut correctly on one side and is about 2 inches short on one side. This could have been fixed easily by cutting a small piece of the extra wood that was left in my garbage. At least the door seems to be hung properly, though, so it was not a bad job, just not the greatest for the price.
