"I sent Mr. Long a text regarding what I thought was a leak in the roof somewhere in the vicinity of the chimney. He went to my house and based on his assessment, suggested that I have the chimney flashing and some roof shingles replaced.  He gave me an estimate for the work and a five year warranty.  I texted him and told him that I wanted him to do the work.  I happened to be home when Mr. Long came to my house to perform the work.  I invited him inside to show him where the water was coming in.  After seeing the inside, he said that I probably didn't have a roof leak at all since none of the drywall was wet, especially after all the rain we had just had from Tropical Storm Colin, but maybe the chimney cap needed to be replaced.  He said he would get on the roof and take a look.  After coming down, he showed me where it appeared that the chimney cap was not down far enough on the chimney.  He adjusted the chimney cap.  When I asked him how much I owed him, he said to give him whatever I thought was fair.  I took into account the two trips he made to my house and the fact that he did not take advantage of me and do a repair that I did not need.  I also took into account that it was less than a week from the time that I first contacted him to the time that he did the work.  I was so grateful for his willingness to come out to my house, which was a pretty good distance for him, and his integrity for not performing work that I did not need. When I paid him, he actually asked me if I thought I should give him that much.  I told him that I did think it was fair considering the two trips he made and for the value of his time and integrity.  "

"Ovid and crew were exceptional. Everything that was listed in contract was completed with exceptional quality. My property was left clean and orderly each day. There was attention to detail that average contractor would ignore. We had bids from several companies, only Serrano II requested to inspect attic to see why roof felt spongy (prior roof install had not properly secured plywood to rafters). Shingle warranty of 50 years would be worthless if under-surface failed sooner. Only issue was never received phone call from secretary to confirm start date/time (had confirmed by email two weeks prior) but would have appreciated a call with start time and that no delays had occurred with other jobs."

"I recently purchased a home and my roof had not been replaced in a long time. There were a lot of issues with it. Even more so than initially scoped. As the old shingles were removed, we uncovered the true state of the roof. It was not pretty. But all along the way, Benny was great at assessing each challenge and explaining the solution and his recommendation. Doing things for longevity and quality was his theme. All while being price conscious at the same time which is not an easy act to valance. Benny and his team were great from start to finish. Everything that had to be planned prior to the day the roof was replaced, was done in a timely manner. The same is true for everything that had to be taken away the next day. Overall it was a perfect execution. And so was the end product. Doing a great job, well planned, well executed in a timely fashion while being price conscious alone is way more than anyone can home for. But the best thing I observed was the way in which Benny treated his team. He was attentive with them. He was present, it was like he worked for them in the way that he ensured they had what they needed at all times. You can tell everyone respects him and everyone was happy to stay late to get the job done. I highly recommend Benny and look forward to doing more improvements with him."
