Indeed, one of these larger outfits seems to be more interested in signing one up to a long term contract at exorbitant rates than stopping the mice from gaining access. Westside is the best by far. "We got a call from our neighbor on a Saturday that she'd entered our house to water plants and immediately got bitten by dozens of fleas jumping on her leg. We were out of town, but we decided to find an exterminator who could come to the house right away and our neighbor could let him in. On our third call, the gentleman at Professional Pest Control said he could do it right away. He came over practically immediately, was let in the house, and sprayed everywhere, up and down, to kill hundreds of fleas. We spoke to him on the phone afterwards, and he described what he'd done and said he'd be back Monday morning to check and give us another spray just to be sure. We returned home Sunday and saw no signs of live fleas, but many dead ones. We could sleep in comfort. He came over promptly on Monday and did it all again just to make sure. Our exterminator was prompt, friendly and courteous and very knowledgeable about the flea life cycle and flea prevention. We were both very impressed. We chose chemicals rather than natural prevention because of the size of the infestation. The smell dissipated fairly quickly. There is a 7 month guarantee on the service. The exterminator said to just call if there was a problem. I felt he was very trustworthy and sincere. That was almost a month ago, and so far, so good. The cost was higher because of the weekend time. It was worth it to us, though, to have it over and done. I would recommend this business without exception for an all-around good experience."

"<p>We were having major problems with ants in our house this winter!  It was focused in the kitchen/dining room area, however they were seen in other areas on the first floor and in the basement. </p> <p>I called numerous Pest Control company's to ask why ants were in our house in the winter, and what could be done about it. Of the approximately 5 company's that I called, Plunkett's was the only one that seemed even remotely interested in doing the work. They explained that they could send someone out to spray, which would take care of the ant problem temporarily. However, they suggested that we have them come again in the spring to spray the perimeter of the house, and do a full inspection of the problem. I made the arrangements for the temporary spraying to get rid of the ants in the house.</p> <p>Bernie showed up on time, and looking and acting like a professional. He explained what was going on thoroughly and answered all of our questions. He advised us that the spray he was applying would be taken back to the nest by the ants and eventually they would be eliminated. He also answered all our questions regarding toxicity to humans, etc...</p> <p>He also advised a return appointment in the spring for a thorough inspection of the extent of the problem and spraying on the outside perimeter of the home.</p> <p>I called and made that appointment today, and specifically requested Bernie return as our Pest Control Professional.</p> <p>All in all, we are very satisfied with the service, price and professionalism of Plunketts (Brainerd, MN).</p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"Excellent Service! I emailed them on a Tuesday evening, received a call the next day and scheduled an appointment for that Friday. <br /> Greg arrived right on time and walked me through what he was going to do and what he was going to look for. I had been having mice problems for the first time in the 12 1/2 years that I have lived in this house. He put bait out in the house (away from prying cats and kids) and then walked around the house and sealed cracks and holes. He found the hole where the mice were getting in and made sure it was sealed. Apparently when I had a new A/C installed earlier this year, the installers caulked the top and sides of the area where the wires come into the house, but missed the bottom. Greg said there were obvious signs that mice were using it as an entry point into the basement.  He also filled up some other areas and told me that it would take a couple of weeks before those already in the house were eliminated.  <br /> All over in less than an hour. I signed up for the quarterly service to keep the insects out as well. I would highly recommend these guys!! <br />"
