"Paul was on time, pleasant and had plenty of creative ideas.  He listened to me! used much of my input, and together came up with a great plan.  He adjusted as we went along, as some ideas came as I saw things taking <br /> shape, yet he stayed within my budget. He re-graded my back yard so water <br /> would flow away from the house.  I had many bricks, 4x4's and chunks of <br /> cement that I wanted to re-use and Paul was 100% for that. He built <br /> curved brick walkway, patio and driveway, flagstone area (with the cement), re-built fire-pit (in a prettier design than was there), planted what I wanted and seeded. He divided another plant for me. He did a lot of little extra things, too.  <br /> Except for one little corner where stuff didn't grow, EVERYTHING LOOKS GREAT! I would recommend and re-hire Paul. <br />"

"We have a large patio made of paver bricks.  After having two types of edging that the frost heaved up, we decided to try their curbing.  When Corby  the owner came to give us an estimate, he said they don't normally use the cubing for this, but said it would work since it sits on top of the ground, so the frost won't affect it.  He also said that it would stick up about 2" above the bricks.  We agreed that we could live with that.  We decided to use the mowers edge style of curbing. <br /> The crew was very courteous and worked to ensure the curbing was pushed up against the bricks, as the machine they use can't lay the concrete right up against something.  They did a great job, and cleaned up really good.  <br /> We hope to add more curbing to other areas in the future. <br />"

"These guys did an awesome job with our 1930 Limestone walk-way and cobble stone walk-way. Plans to bring them back for the patio in the spring to redo the 1930 brick patio."

"The employees did an immaculate job. Joe Bear did amazing work and installed everything to the specs I wanted. Contractors cleaned up after themselves, there was no dirt or grime left around the work area nor carpet in the house, wouldn't even know they were there!"

"<p>The job went very smoothly indeed. Chris and Joe were professional, punctual, and very easy to work with. They were both sensitive to our plans and fears (you know you have them when you have this big a project) and sensitive to our budget. <br /> They were also creative in their solutions, which is something you certainly want but don't always find you have in remodeling help. For example, we mentioned our basement, which was remodeled into both a study and a storage area, neither of which we ever thought we'd have, and the aforementioned amazing "dog spa," solving the problem of how to invite company who don't love your dogs as much as you do. They also suggested some features we wouldn't have thought to request, for example, they rewired our computers and TVs, achieving a synchrony we hadn't expected and have so much enjoyed.<br /> They solved any problems that came up quickly and well. The quality of their work was exceptionally high. We recommend them very highly; if we needed to have any further work done, we will definitely call Green Men Restoration and know we would be lucky to have them.  </p> <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Mooreland, IN

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
