"I contacted Philco Roofing & Remodeling for an issue after a storm damaged my roof. Not only did someone come out almost immediately to place a tarp over a damaged area to protect the interior ceiling from leaks, but their team also clearly communicated the underlying problem and what was necessary to fix it. On the day of replacing the roof, everyone arrived on time and the whole job was completed that day. I was well pleased with the whole experience, from Phil's professionalism, knowledge and customer service to the skilled crew who were hard working and cleaned up everything before leaving ! "They have a favorable AL rating so I started this process by calling this company for an estimate. I was contacted by Jim Howell, their roof inspector/ evaluator. He met with me promptly and did the inspection by getting up on the roof and gave me the estimate within 2 days. Jim also came back here a second time to meet my husband (my request) so he would have a better understanding of our roof's condition and why it should be replaced. Samples of roofing materials were brought here to determine sytle and color.
Although generally I always obtain multiple quotes from various providers I did not seek more in this case. I was so impressed by Jim Howell's explanations, courtesy, and demeanor that we went ahead with this company.
It was supposed to be a 2 all-day job. Unfortunately day #2 turned out to be a rainy day and they had to suspend working. (a Friday).
Because the crew needed to get the job done due to weather changes they came back and worked on Sunday, all day and finished!
Replacing a roof is extremely messy and Noisy! and the crew did a wonderful job of picking up nails, shingle debris, and blowing and sweeping. The crew was extremely careful throughout not damaging our bushes, lawn, and landscaping in general which I had requested before we signed the contract.
Jim also gave me some advice to repair mortar in several areas on the facade of our home. I appreciated that.
Our roof is very attractive and we know our home is protected for many years to come.
The only reason I gave a B on the Cost is because I did not obtain other bids so I couldn't compare with other companies.

"I didn't leave a review immediately after the roof was done because I wanted to let some time go by to test the quality of their work. It has now been 3-4 years since they did my roof. It was a steep pitch with three floors on one side. All shingles are still in place, there are no leaks anywhere, and the netting they put over my gutters is still in the same state as it was upon installation. The husband/wife team were pleasant. My wife had a concern a month or two after the roof installation. The owner (maybe Mike-been a while) came with some guys and they fixed my concern and then he explained it to me (VERY much appreciate that). It turns out it was a non-issue, but more of an appearance thing in my attic. He fixed it free of charge even though it wasn't his fault, it was the builders of the house in 1992. I recommend them to anybody when roofing comes up. If pressed for a criticism it would be the mariachi music that played in my house because the gentleman that worked on the roof put their radio on my chimney so it played in my living room. Honestly, it's sort of a funny."

"Excellent! The Hidden Cove Construction crew was awesome. They did a fantastic job in a really difficult situation. The roof they replaced was underneath a large outdoor deck and there was little room to work. They were up and down multiple ladders for two straight days, working in tight spaces, and finished the job ahead of schedule. I highly recommend them. They are very diligent, dependable, and meticulous. I would hire them again anytime."

"Masters Roofing is the best in their business. 10 years ago I had hail damage to my roof and every single house surrounding me was approved for replacement but I was denied, 3 times! Fast forward to fall 2020, there was wind damage to my roof and I lost several shingles. Again, I went to my insurance company; long story short, I was denied once again. Spring of 2021 it was suggested I obtain estimates from a roofer and resubmit the claim to insurance. I began gathering estimates from 6 different roofing companies but there was one that stood out to me, Masters Roofing. They sent a representative out, Tom Shay, who was very professional and very knowledgeable of the products and process! He spent a lot of time explaining the process, my color choices of shingles and material used. Tom was the ONLY one of the six estimates to provide me a folder with material and information about the company, shingle choices, shingle colors, etc. If anyone could get my roof approved, it was Masters Roofing. They immediately prepared the necessary paperwork to submit to insurance; a couple weeks later my roof was approved! Master Roofing was the best choice. Tom continued to work with me in selecting the right shingle color and delivering actual samples to my home. Once the date was set, the shingles were delivered as planned and the work was completed on time and in a clean and organized manner. I couldnâ  t have asked for a better experience. "Top notch installation crew. Extra care on very steep roof was taken at each step during the roof install of 65 squares. These installers love roofing and you can see that in the quality of their work. The heavy tropical storm rain that followed the next week was no match for my new roof. There were 7 decking sheets replaced, each indicating a leak. All that is in my rear view mirror with no worries about a leak in my roof. Thanks Fidelity and their main pusher Henry!"

"I needed four new exterior exhaust vents, some vinyl siding popped back into place, a shingle replaced, and a ceiling hook installed. Two of the vents, vinyl, and the shingle were about 16+ feet up, and the other two vents were about 10 feet up. I mostly wanted to get someone out here to do it because I didn't want to buy a $200+ extendable ladder to do it myself. I was contacted and given pricing fairly quickly. Which at $55/hr with no minimum of 3-4 hours, beats the other handymen I've gotten quotes for. He arrived, and was very polite and friendly. Absolutely great person in general. He jumped right into the work, and I wasnt given an estimate after he understood the work needed. but given quotes by others and over the phone, I imagined it to be maybe like 2 hours (or 3 with a supply run), so I didn't pay it any mind. It took 4.5 hours, though I believe the handyman doing the maintenance was experienced, he seemed to definitely be new to the company and had to call back about certain procedures. At one point the professional asked for my help during the work day, or else he was going to need either someone else or different tools (which when you're paying hourly, the meters running, so I may as well help). They didn't bring a 8-10 foot ladder, so the professional borrowed mine. When moving their 20ft ladder, there was nearly a point where I pointed out the end of ladder was starting to pull up my shingles while he was trying to finagle the positioning of this ladder. The work on the vents is certainly caulked, but the vinyl siding around it is questionable. I don't think there will be a problem with any of the vents moving forward, and certainly functional. However, the vinyl edging around the vents (to essentially make them look pretty, and maybe prevent water) was torn away when pulled out which I don't think was necessary. The rest of the vinyl siding and the shingle was repaired, and due to the clock ticking, I decided to do the ceiling hook and light repositioning. When given the final invoice, I wanted to pay with Credit Card, it wasn't until as I was paying that I was presented with a 3.5% charge for using Credit Card, that isn't on their original pricing sheet given to me by email. Overall, The handyman was experienced though new, I received no estimate in the beginning, I was surprised at how long it took, quality was very average, professionalism was good at times and terrible in others. But the work did get done, and I don't think Ill have a problem with the work down the road. They do have one of the best prices out there, but it took long enough that it didnt matter at that point. Additionally, a surprise 3.5% upcharge for credit card is kind of obnoxious. Given the opportunity again, I would probably someone else."
