Not quite as bad as them doing same since we also still have broken HVAC too, both said they would fix ( I bought gasket already, they could have put in) or replace if they brought new toilet. Problem is not in water pipes except they need testing for lead - both said they would do this too - when I asked oak re taking a sample, how long sitting in pipes? He wiped off his soda water bottle and asked “which pipes?” !!"

"Can not imagine a better response, starting with my call for assistance, response time and how the technician, Tad methodically diagnosed the problem. We have an obscure kitchen fixture that required service in Feb 2019. Under warranty the problem was easily diagnosed by me, a problem possibly caused by me and a replacement part sent and installed by Albert Nahman team. Problem: I broke the faucet cartridge. Current Problem: restricted hot water flow in this kitchen sink only. Turns out the new cartridge part is now malfunctioning. I called and Tad arrived taking a step by step approach ruling out possible causes: a clog here or there, build up of sediment, or blockage in the lines or cartridge. The company that sells the product got on the phone with Tad and they collaborated on the problem and the tech person gave Tad one more thing to try. After the collaboration it is agreed, problem persisted and therefore that new cartridge part is now malfunctioning and will be shipped free of charge in two days. Thanks to all, who made this possible and I trust we will have Tad here again soon to finalize this fix. BTW, cost of service was less than expected given going rates for such a call lasting in excess of one hour. Another comment, spending time with Tad during the repair was a pleasure to have him explain, collaborate, listen and just chat. Questions on who to call next time, no question who I will call next time. I have read criticism of costs: In the Berkeley area "How much does it cost to hire a plumber? Plumbers may give you a general service rate of $128-148 per hour when there are a lot of unknowns about a project and they aren't sure how long it will take. Some charge a flat rate for their plumbing services. For example, you may get charged $175 for a sink or drain cleaning, while toilet installation costs $500." Today costs are upfront, same as charges in Feb, $69 to arrive and assess the problem. Here in excess of one hour for $129 minus $25 coupon, total charge $173. I am ok and I expected these costs. If I was in Philly, where I grew up, I could call an uncle or cousin and get a better rate, a family rate. This is going rate for our area."

"The 800 number was promptly answered at 8:30 pm and the person who took the call gave me a planned plumbing service time that fit my schedule the next day. A call from the dispatcher provided me with a heads-up when the technician was on his way from the previous job a few miles away - right in the middle of the scheduled time window. The technician was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, clean/tidy, competent and professional.  Everything went as well as it could have given that one of my kids had broken the dispose-all by putting metal objects down the sink.

"Leo and his crew are skilled craftsmen. They do a variety of work and do it all right. They refused to settle for anything less than perfect and gave the extra effort to make the project gorgeous. They really cared about their work and showed excitement about the final product. They should be excited. It is beautiful! They patched a ton of drywall that we had removed as result of a skunk dying in the walls. They worked with our situation (pretty stinky at first) and took great care in replacing the drywall and insulation, matching texture (best I have ever seen), and painted three separate colors with perfect lines. They even came back and touched up areas that THEY were not satisfied with and then left the place spotless. Their work upgraded my space significantly. I look forward to our next project with them."

"Now for the positive experience.  I called Clearwater Plumbing and left a message.  Larry returned my call within 2 hours.  Larry was very pleasant and answered all my questions.  I purchased all the material for replacing two toilets.  I just needed a quote for labor.   Clearwater Plumbing provided a very fair estimate.  I was also able to use Clearwater's coupon on Angie's List that saved me 10% on labor.  Larry scheduled to provide the service two days after I accepted their estimate.  Larry provided a two hour window for their arrival.  Tyler came to provide the work.  He called 15 mins before he arrived.  He wore shoe covers in my house which I really appreciated.  I have changed toilets before but since I had major back surgery my wife does not want me to get injured again.  I occasionally watched his work. Tyler did not waste any time installing the two toilets.  He completed the work on-time per the quote.  Tyler did a professional job and cleaned up the area when he was done.  I would definitely use Clearwater Plumbing again for any plumbing work.  I would also recommend them to all my friends."
