"<p>It went great. The fellas showed up, on Labor Day, on time. They assessed all the work and then left to get material. They came back when they said they would and went right to work. They were friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of home repair. </p> <p>Their work was impeccable. "Ricky and Gutter Glove were wonderful. Ricky had coordinated with me over the phone and come by previously to help determine the estimate. When they began the repairs, Ricky was discovered that he would be able to repair rather than replace the gutter. We were already set for the replacement--piece was on the truck--but Ricky was very helpful in finding a better way. We were ready with the checkbook to pay more for what we had agreed on. They could have easily made more money on the deal. I take this as a sign of a conscientious approach with the long term rather than the quick buck in mind. And the work backed that up. "I signed the contract 10/23/19 with an expected pick up date by the end of the month. Heard on 10/30 that the transport had broken down and needed repairs. Talked to contact on 10/31 and reviewed alternative arrangements. Second transport option bailed out due to an emergency. Third option discussed. 11/05. I followed up and was told a driver was on the way. Pickup occurred 11/7 and delivery was 11/12. I paid extra for door to door service, but the transport could not navigate the residential streets, so pickup was in a mall parking lot. For the money paid, things could have gone more smoothly. Communication was okay, but given the starts and stops more wold have been better."

"This company did a very good job on the brick wall and it looks just amazing. The staff was always professional and was practically OCD on how the bricks were stacked and how they were laid. Although it took longer than expected, I am willing to sacrifice time over perfection anyday. The second project however didn't go as well as the first one. They hired a plumbing sub-contractor to do the tub work because they were scarce on resources and they damaged the tub and some other items doing the tub install. The thing I was impressed by, this company took accountability for their responsibilities and made sure the tub was repaired. They then offered if it couldn't be repaired that they would have it replaced in needed. No Argument . That was an amazing experience dealing with them on the issue as I never felt stressed while they were figuring out our options. In the end the tub looks great and most importantly they are being hired to tile the floor and shower surround in the bathroom based on my dealings with them. Things go wrong in the world, we can't change that, however we must own up to our responsibilities when things do go wrong. My Handy Mate did just that and it is a company you can trust even when things don't go completely as planned.  In my opinion, a true company's rating is based on how well they respond when things don't go right not when it all is perfect. A true persona of a company is revealed when things go wrong and in the end, My Handy Mate is a company you can trust and depend on. <br />"

"A-1 House Medic came out and gave me an an estimate and proposal. Then gave me a call and wanted to get started right away on the job. There were some issues with the weather...rain and cold. But as soon as he could finish the job he did! He also helped to repair damage done by another service provider."

"I originally hired Drain Pro's to deal with a leaky toilet. They first replaced a broken fill valve.  That did not take care of the problem. Brad and his crew were very quick to return and determined the entire tank needed to be replaced. This was done promptly and now, no more leaks!  I was impressed by Brad's responsiveness and professionalism and hired him to insulate all my pipes and repair a leaky shower drain.
